- This feel like a step forward than a step back. What is here is fantastic, but I miss the good old days where Domon had a combination with everyone and their mom. Plus a couple of missing moves kinda sucks.

And so begins my binge of watching the attack animations of this game while I wait for SRW T to arrive between January and February
so love how the eyes glow when executing the attack..

Considering its post-plot its not too surprising that he's missing some of the combination attacks. Yeah he's also missing the God Slash Typhoon, Bakunetsu God Slash and God Field Dash but at least this has given them a foundation to do all those attacks in another game. What we have here is fantastic and I'm just glad to see Mobile Fighter G Gundam in SRW once again! :D
His voice also had aged so it's fitting for post plot Domon

So there's no Double Sekiha with Master Gundam, No Sekiha Love Love Tenkyoken and no Double Finger? Oh man.
They endlessly talk about love love tenkyoken which makes that worse lol but I'm just glad it loads and animates faster than langrisser or fire emblem, though some concepts like morale and other buffs can be confusing too. I did see a guide with that golden super mode (edit not hyper mode) as far as chapter 30+, let alone no auto turn end when everyone is finished. I generally play T when I wanna hear music or read the character bios should dialogue get stale. Project X Zone 2 had cool music too, though you can't skip the repetitive battle animations that you time and do supers/assists manually for.
I know there's a couple of things missing from the list but when sekiha tenkyoken and shuffle doumei ken look this damn good I'm not going to complain

I'm seriously surprised Sekiha Love Love Tenkyoken isn't in at least as a summon move, even if Rain and the Rising aren't playable. The lack of Double God Finger with Allenby hurts too, but regardless, Domon's animations look wonderful.

G gundam was and still one of the greatest anime ever

Everyone say that Domon's voice actor is worse than before because he's getting old and he smoke, but i think his performance is incredibly good and dynamic

Anyways God Gundam looks okay to me but...is it me or is A Portable's God Gundam more dynamic? Especially God Slash and God Finger
Yeah A Portable had more going on but they had a lot of reason to, considering it reused all of MX's animations and built from there. This is the first time they've done God Gundam from scratch in....god, a LONG time. What we got is fucking incredible though and I think they'll include even more next time.
he smokes to sound better as his recent roles like Gilgamesh involves some effort and variety.
This can be seen in his voicelines when doing either Gilgamesh as an Archer and Gilgamesh as a Caster.
So in this game they use a little bit old srw voice for domon , can hear about god finger
These are brand new animations from scratch. A Portable reused ALOT of MX's assets so it was alot easier to build off from that. At least now they've got a foundation to build on for when G Gundam appears again in this engine. Yeah Tomokazu Seki is getting on, we all are. The main thing is to appreciate them while we can :)

It's missing some attack, but otherwise I don't see what people mean when they say it has worse animations than the MX version.
No tornado Slash? Regular Seki Tinjew Fist? Map Weapon? Supereme Electro Charge? Burning Finger Sword from shinning gundam?
Too bad there's no God Gundam attack and Ultimate Finish in this game such as:
- God Slash Typhoon
- Darkness God Finger (with Master Gundam)
- Chyoukyuu Haou Den'eidan (with Master Gundam)
- Sekiha Kyukyoku Tenkyoken (with Master Gundam)
- Bakunetsu Double God Finger (with Noble Gundam)
- Bakunetsu Love Love God Finger (with Rising Gundam)
- Bakunetsu Seki Ha Love Love Tenkyoken (with Rising Gundam)
Rising Gundam is absent, they were too many secrets anyway.

To the people complaining about the lack of attacks. They always do that then keep adding more.
Why did they translate God into Burning like they did with the dub?
The translators knew the change was unnecessary since this game is not sold in countries where the name change was an issue, right?
Apparently there was some requirement that the translators be required to use the dub changes for G Gundam specifically. They didn't have any choice in the matter. It's why they had to patch in the Dunbine names from Shou/Todd/Cham to Show/Tod/Chum, because it's part of the international license.
Are you kidding me? The dub changes are STILL required? That's honestly total BS.
IIRC, God was changed to Burning and Devil was changed to Dark, due to the western culture not accepting the name "God" and "Devil" to be used because... religion. (wonder about Devilman and other Devils)
The same reason they use the name "Getter Robo Armageddon" instead of "Change!! (Shin) Getter Robo: World's Last Day"
Whenever G returns then maybe more combo attacks

I love Shining Gundam but its design isn't the best. It does some really cool shit and I like how it resembles a samurai, but overall it kinda looks bland, especially on such a flashy show with really insane mecha designs. God Gundam is a freaking beast though! I love it so much that I'm building the Master Grade right now.

You don't have to field the shuffle union members, but it's stronger if you do.

Sadly it the game feels rushed, but at least Domon's animations look clean (Unlike Chibodees weird jiggle appendages) for what they have. In which G Gundam hasn't had any love since J or Neo in a long time.
Hopefully next game they'll have all the missing moves (Also Seikiha just goes straight in to god finger? That isn't separate anymore?) and ton of combinations. Also whats up with the dlc?

The people in charge of the localization process watching this case was a fan of the SRW series, technically use the original US names wherever applicable.

SRW A Portable, hands down has the best G Gundam attack animations, but T is not half bad.
I am satisfied by the animation of this attacks. But compare to SRW A Portable, G gundam is more badass regarding the attacks and the combination attacks.
It is just a bit sad that the VA can no longer fit voicing Domon so they had to recycle older voice clips.

So is the Shining Gundam just not an option in these games?
The plot of G-Gundam happened off screen before the game happened, so that's why there is no Shining undam. SRW J and SRW A Portable cover G Gundam's plot and have Shining Gundam as a result.
I'm really annoyed that the eng sub of the game labeled the GOD Gundam as the BURNING Gundam.
I have to say srw T is a bit lazy in terms of animations. If they bothered enough to make Master Asia a hidden unit they should've made their combination attacks too.

It is almost universal for Gundams is SRW and it is a perfect assist tool to lower the mobility of the enemies so your super robot allies can clap them.

I Love G Gundam. But compared to an OG unit, ther is hardly any actual unit animation happening in this game. Its all anime wannabe cutscenes.
