This Gavroche is my favorite by far. I felt like he did an amazing job. He didn't overplay the cuteness, which I find refreshing. Just cute enough with some serious talent. Bravo to him. I hope he's still performing.
100% agree. He really did a fantastic job. He's able to get across the anger and bitterness of his world just about as good as anyone can. With only a few lines of dialog he's able to paint a very effective picture of these slums he lives in and the people who also inhabit them.
I think that he was a child singer by the name of Adam Searles and had a brief succes in the mid 1990s. I dont think his success lingered and carrer soared onwards beyond those years. A real shame.
@@alinayman8437 he was in the les miserable movie in 2012. He hasn’t given up acting.
he wasn't even that cute though. it was like watching a professional sing. his attitude and resonance was amazing.
@@sarashepard7504 playing who?
I personally thinks he have the best vocals out of all Gavroche I've seen. :)
I like the one on the 25th
he nailed the accent
Yea but this was the London cast so it's quite easy already
Meh he’s English but this takes place in France they are not supposed to sound English
@@desibroadwayboy6897
Are you saying Cockney is not a french accent?
Dan Slash no cockney is british
@@desibroadwayboy6897 if everyone would sing in a french accent then it would be nothing but ugly. The money heist actors don't speak spanish accents either. The cockney accent represents the working class and therefore fits Gavroche perfectly
I played Gavroche in an amatuer performance of Les Mis, when I died people told me I made them all cry, it's a great part to play and I loved it, the 10th anniversary version is better than the movies I think
Follow me! *goes and sits down*
😂😂
The 10th Anniversary Concert assemblage truly WAS a dream cast! Every time I listen to or watch the concert, I'm SO blown away by Gavroche's performance...WHAT A VOICE. Pitch-perfect, and complete embodiment of the role...just a FLAWLESS performance.
If hope that ADAM SEARLES has a long and prosperous career....truly as gifted as they come! His performance was just as impressive as those by Colm Wilkinson, Philip Quast, Michael Ball, and Jenny Galloway.
10th Gavroche totally should have been 25th Marius if you ask me.
Lmao
NO ONE 😂😂😂
Nothing like a musical that takes place in France not speaking French but English that nailed the accent.
Such an American thing.
U-S-A U-S-A
Gaveroche is my favorite character!!
The best Gavroche and always will be!
My High School put in a Les Mis production, however most of the cast were girls and all the boys already had parts so I, despite being in Year 8, got to play Gavroche because I had a high enough voice and spent most of the performance sitting down
Well, lucky!
“Wow, that’s a very tall Gavroche. He’s probably the tallest in his year.”
my favorite gavroche. how old was this lad when he did this role?
He was 14, I’m pretty sure.
Adorable kid
His voice is incredible
That's some High Quality.
Amazing. he is so young too.
Best version ever!
Good lad!
I want to see him play the role as Dodger in the musical, Oliver Twist. However, in Taiwan, it seems that there is not any DVD published.
I liked his little cameo in the movie!
He and Robert Madge are the best ones!
Thumbs up if you just like Les Miserables in general!
vote up if you love them both!!
adam searles is my favorite gavroche
omfg this is like the one character i can't decide on between the two but i think i may like the 25th one better this time because that gavroche has a little bit more of that cheeky swagger ;)
My favorite Gavroche!
for real, they're like the same person on different time
He's adorable.
Im going to play this role may god bless me
best Gavroche ever
Great :)
Great
Despite my dislike for him as Marius. I still loved that he attempted to get into an art that he was interested in. He loved it, and I'm glad he does. My respect for him went up and you should as well, because he has good taste.
great gavroche
Yeah! :)
him and the 25th anniversary guy sound reeeeeeeeeeeally similar
Wow
Best Gavroche although Jonas did a great job as well.
Lol I watched the 25th and 10th one in sync (sort of they dont exactly) match. It was like a battle who could get the most people to follow xD.
well in terms of supporting cast yes, but in terms of lead rolls sorry 25th 10th anniversary takes the cake
Cool! Where did you get it from?
not to mention, Nick Jonas did broadway to start off his career. One of the roles he played was in fact Gavroche. he didn't do horrible at all in the 25th!
Gavroche singt wirklich gut
I prefer this Gavroche than the movie's.
so i guess you voted for the 10th anniversary?
Why is gavroche's accent so different from the others ?
Love this kid, he's great....but I have to say to my own surprise that I think the 25th aniversary kid has more stage command. You just WANT more from that kid than he gets in the show.
Hannah Weakley 25th anniversary kid was a better actor. This one was a better singer (IMO the best singer of any Gavroche I’ve seen). Modern Gavroches seem to be cast more for acting ability than singing ability judging by the number of Gavroches who can’t sing in tune. The best Gavroches are this one, the 25th anniversary one, and the one in the movie.
Robert Madge (25ac Gavroche) is the BOMB!
25th Gavroche is just cuter.
WELL, he was outplayed of course.
vote up if you don't give a shit and just enjoy the musical, whatever anniversary!!
Please the 25th had nick jonas in it... need i say more?
Robert Madge, the best Gavroche!
Great but a little to serious for my taste
This Gavroche is better singer (I know, it's difficult to judge the voice of a little boy), other Gavroche (from 25th) is better... I dont know: actor? He appears to be less tense.
No ew
What do you mean ew?
