@@turna23 managed to do it 👍 hardest part was taking the screen off, also the battery was glued down much harder than the video showed was not easy to pull off. I now have a protective case but I wish they didn't design the phone like a bar of soap that keeps slipping out of your hand!

did you find the fault yet, best way i found was to find someone on here that has a broken screen spare that's working and try that, if it works, its your screen that's faulty, if not working its something else M/B issue.

You might be able to pry away the metal with something thin and sharp and free your home button so it can click , maybe try tweezers?
