I couldn't seem to keep a transmission in my build. I ended up installing an erevo 2.0 vxl transmission in it. It was a fairly easy mod. Totally worth it. The only hard part was finding the right size center drive shafts.
I always run zeee or hoovo batteries. Can be found on Amazon. 5200 and 5000mah. 50c and 80c. I get probably 20 minutes maybe more. Really depends if you're running up and down the road or track driving.

Me too. I had a T-Maxx not long after they came out. All the best stuff is in the "vintage" section now.

Put some wd 40 on the traxxas tire let it sit on them about a hour wipe off the excess they would soften them get better traction
In the process of rebuild my emaxx, they are wicked fast on 6s I keep destroying the diffs though
I locked front + rear differrenial keep the slipper clutch
1/8 scale diffs like Losi LST older model new ones are the same, or FLM diff cases and 1/8th scale ring & pinion.

It's still the same as the first build. That's the most reliable setup in my opinion. I have some emaxx videos but they are driving videos.
