If you are looking for theatre inspiration, here are other shows i've seen in 2024: czcams.com/play/PLSHIWCqKnU0Dyosa7_EAC8ZeS1jBih2_4.html&si=sjr6iW-8TgxG8wvm
Iâm so excited to see this in a few weeks time, itâs brilliant that such stories can be used through a musical đ
It's a fantastic show! I really hope you enjoy it. đ
I come to London twice a year for work and cram in the shows, I'm so glad I saw it recently. I saw about 20 shows in London last year and it has been my fav seen so far, the cast is just so exceptional, as is the musical direction.
I'm so glad to hear you've enjoyed this show and you managed to see it when you visited London! Wow - 20 shows in two visits is amazing, well done! Hope you get to see some great new shows this year too!
This musical gets rave reviews all over the place. I think I have to move up my 'to watch' list đ
Great review as always.
Itâs worth it! Itâs a pretty special watch, especially with the current cast. Hope you manage to see it! đ and thank youuu!
â@@KristinaEmilyOfficial Went last night. Great show, but I was a bit underwhelmed by the ending. Seemed a bit rushed.
Really good voices though and strong narrative.
@@Armadillo312 glad to hear you've mostly enjoyed it by the sounds of it. The cast is definitely the highlight for me too, and yes I'd agree that the narrative is really strong with some really incredible numbers!
I saw this when it was at the Donmar and it blew me away. It's not the type of thing that would normally appeal to me but it brought tears to my eyes several times. All the cast are fantastic and a certain plot point caught me completely by surprise. The set looks pretty similar to when it was at the Donmar. The central unit there turned round at times there, I don't know if it still does at Wyndhams. I would love to see it again but living far away from London there are too many other plays, etc that I want to see to be able to fit this in to my visits. I would urge other people to see it even if the subject doesn't appeal as it is well worth it.
Ahh I bet seeing this at Donmar was pretty special. Yes - the central point turns a bit so it sounds like it's very a very similar set up to how it was before. Given that the cast is the same, I think what you've experienced in Donmar is very close (if not better) to the West End transfer so totally appreciate you might want to prioritise other shows. âș
just saw this last friday - top 10 production of all time...I'll be really surprised if it doesn't also move back to Broadway at some point (when I'll see it again!). can you believe I almost went to Kiss me Kate instead of this? yikes crisis averted.
Love this!! Thatâs a really high praise! So glad to hear youâve enjoyed it and agreed - better choice than Kiss me Kate đ (not to diss that production but think itâs completely different vibe).
It's "Eleanor Worthington-Cox", not Elizabeth.
@@hamzajahanzebuk đ€Šđ»ââïž I stand corrected. Thank you for spotting that - I will add a note to correct it.
