If you think about it, this Frieza is actually stronger than the one in Super. Because this Frieza must have had an extra 10 years to train in his Golden Form.
This frieza is defenitly stronger than DBS this is a reverse uno card, super goku lost because stamina, Golden Frieza lost because stamina and two SSJ gods vs him, in this dark timeline Goku lost because no mastery of SSj4 , two golden friezas and both have no weakness with being in hell and seperating Goku frtom his friends.
The Villians did the impossible, they gave the plot a middle finger and said

Plus Frieza attaining the Fifth Form for a few seconds on top of his Golden State. Yeah, this Freiza definitely stronger than his SUPER counterparts.

Okay this is an explanation why! First, SS4 alone is way weaker in terms of power to SSB and Golden , the only advantage SS4 has is the low consumption of energy, thus more stamina, and not to mention , last video when SS4 Goku battles against SSB , GT goku was returned to the right age( Adult age) thus SS4 goku was way powerful then he was as a child . Secondly , instead of trainning for a few months , this frieza has trained for years , he is more adapt to the golden form.
Lastly as to answer to your question where Frieza can regenerate ? Well.. Frieza is dead and he is hell, therefore he is capable of regenerating, we can tell the battle is unfair at first when goku was stuck in hell. Not to mention about Golden Cell (Which is more powerful then Frieza) Frieza was right when he said Goku had 0 chances of winning! But the animation and story plot is still God Tier!
Because this is was Kid Goku(GT). The battle againts Goku (Super) was Adult Goku (GT) when Omega Shenron was defeated. This Goku still wasn't experiened enought. But your right, he could use Instant Transmition to escape.
Again that is headcanon Goku was just as powerful in his child for that has been repeated and stated over and over again.. it's just that his childlike body prevents him from using that power as long as he needs To.
And even with the tail to properly regulate his power as Super Saiyan 3 it did do crap againstt against baby because of Overpowerrd Baby was in In the First place.
Super Saiyan 4 is highly overrated in terms Of Power. But it has excellent design elxpect For The Dumb Magical Clothing Coming out of No Where.
You are correct it is a very efficient transformation. When Goku and Golden Great Ape baby Vegeta knocked each other out, Golu was still in the transformation despite being unconscious.
So it's a very clear that this transformation is very natural... keep in mind it's not a Super Saiyan transformation and it's not a great ape transformation it's a form that transcends both Super Saiyan line and Great Ape Line.
Power: now let's get things straight the form itself is far weaker than Super Saiyan God aka The Red Base God Form.. so we should not compare it to Super Saiyan blue at all
Proper Estimate Of The Form Power: according to the Dragon Ball GT anime comics a hypothetical Buu saga Super Saiyan 4 Goku would be comparable to Buu Saga Super Saiyan 1 Vegito.. Now based on the description of potara fusion Base Vegito Would Many Times Stronger Then Combined Might Of SS3 Goku and SS2 Vegeta... That Hold True With Other Fused Chracters. Kefla In Her Base easily overpowered Super Saiyan God Goku. Merged Zamusu in The Manga Thought Base Vegito Was Goku or Vegeta in transformation beyond Super Saiyan Blue and He Even Stated It Could Take A While To Defeat Base Vegito. Which proves my Point
Back to the subject of the Buu saga: let's look at Gotenks.. before he trained in the hyperbolic Time Chamber it was stated that Gotenks as a Super Saiyan 1 Defeat Fat Buu.. and then we keep our scalars argue that even before then he surpassed SS3 Goku becuase Would Of Not Defeated Fat Buu because using up so much power would Use Up His Time or He Would Time and Return To The Otherworld and if he was alive fat Buu endurance would just be too much for him and not to mention the strain of Super Saiyan 3 on the living body
Okay back to gotenks.. After training in the hyperbolic Time Chamber it was stated by the daizenshuu 7 that gotenks in his base form surpassed SS2 Vegeta.. Let That Sink in.
Base Gotenks after Training Is Stronger Then SS2 Goku and SS2 Vegeta.
Therefore if we calculate properly Gotenks as SS3 is x100 times stronger then SS3 Goku.

but here is a quick summary if Buu saga Super Saiyan 1 Vegitonis Equal To hypothtical buu Saga SS4 Goku.. then with common sense that Would Mean Base buu Saga Vegito is Only x50 Times Weaker a hypothetical buu saga Super Saiyan 4.
Battle of Gods: no keep in mind Goku Vegeta are least slightly stronger then they were in the Buu saga.. Therefore This Vegito would be stronger.. that would mean even a hypothetical Battle of Gods Saga Super Saiyan 3 Vegito Would Be Inferior To Super Saiyan God Goku.
even if we lowball it Super Saiyan God form would Easily been over 10 times more powerful then SS4.

I just enjoy playing Devil's advocate but I enjoyed this sad note greatly because it reinvokes the terror in the villains that Goku is forced to fight.

I believe that the reason Frieza grew back his tail is mainly because he’s somewhat of an Alien Lizard. There are a lot of reptiles that can regrow dismembered limbs, mainly geckos and skinks. Besides that, if you look at his tail when he regrows it, it looks just like the healing process of a lizard.
During the Namek saga, Frieza does regrow his tail when he reaches his final form. He didn’t during his fight with Piccolo, Vegeta, Gohan and Krillin because he was more focused on the fight.
I've Seen Vegito 1089's Version Of This Fight.

GT Goku, you finally have the Kaioken for once. This is what I want for you, to use the Kaioken, but KaiokenX10 - KaiokenX20 or even Kaioken X40, I think you should need lots of practice and tons of training to able to use the Kaioken and plus your Full Power as well. I think GT Goku might have the upper hand here by using *Full Power Super Saiyan 4 KaiokenX20* but I don't think that would be necessary because Golden Freeza is still stronger but I do think GT Goku within *Full Power Super Saiyan 4 KaiokenX40* might do lots of damage to Freeza. But if GT Goku manage to unlock or even achieve Limit Breaker, when I think GT Goku will destroy Freeza, however, GT Goku can combine *Full Power Super Saiyan 4 KaiokenX40 Limit Breaker* when he'll access to it, and completely destroy Ultimate Golden Freeza. But keep this in mind GT Goku doesn't have Limit Breaker in DBGT, only in SDBH because Xeno Goku unleashed Limit Breaker, but what-if GT Goku can possibility access Limit Breaker, that would lot of work for GT Goku to have Limit Breaker, but I do believe GT Goku within *Full Power Super Saiyan 4 KaiokenX40 Limit Breaker* can absolutely destroy Golden Freeza.

The reason why Frieza was able to regrow his tail, was because of the fact, that Frieza was dead.

Actually Frieza could always regenerate. Keep in mind that his spieces ARE lizard based plus he has regrown his tail when he transformed.

What’s wrong with an ending where the protagonist doesn’t have plot armor? its boring and basic as fuck when the hero always wins and implies no sense of consequences or urgency.
The real freezy pop from super doesn’t even have god ki he matches ssj blue with four months, mastery and dicking around. Imagine if he made a god ki based golden form or trained under whis since he would make the ideal successor for Beerus.
He already handled hakaishin energy without having any god ki of his own when it came to sidra, and goku and Vegeta are too good to ever take the job.
If the writers took the idiot ball out of Friezas hands he would be a legitimate threat instead of the anti villain or whatever he is now.

Frieza can regenerate cause hes in hell and is dead
Goku can regenerate for maybe 2 reasons
Number 1 he is also in afterlife but then again he isn't dead
Number 3 no one has ever eaten more than 1 senzu and Goku is wiser than future Gohan and would think up the idea
Also maybe he could manipulate it's healing properties directly to his arm even
While goku would have lost either way
He may have damaged frieza more if he tired him out more even if the gold form is adjusted he could be stupid and use all his energy trying to take him out
However the kaioken fucked his body up damaging it making it slower amd him more tired however he was screwed from the start because he would be too tired to take out cell and also wouldn't have enough power in him to completely destroy cell either

Mui means mastered ultra instinct just call it ui not mui the whole time and to saiyans ui is like a form because they do have hair and it change there appearance but for other races its like a technique and you got somethings wrong and baby vegeta changed his ssj2 form making a new form called "mutated ssj2" and ssj too and fused zamasu divine ssjr you can call it I guess but when baby vegeta fused with zamasu it made a mixed form with mutated ssj2 snd ssjr divine like kefla it became ssj2 lssj aka ssj2 berserker so it's ssj2 rose mutated divine or idk tbh but freiza can turn coolers form because it's the fifth form and he can increase his power and lower it to different forms his dad king cold is in second form but i could be wrong this is all my opinion and mystic is a form everyone can have even though in the show the Supreme kai said believe in your self ans turn ssj its cause guru gave him ultimate potential and he changed it by using ssj and with it and made a new form so its incredibly poweful anyways all of this was my opinion damn i writed a lot
