The dark side user that you are calling to Acolyte might be searching for a Acolyte (May) If this is true He might be the number two in the rule of two. at least to find his own acolyte/apprentice (#2) and challenge the number 1 sith. there would be only two active Sith at one time a Dark Lord to embody the power, and an apprentice to crave it. the metal used to deactivate lightsabers is called cortosis. It was used in stars legends and canon. hopefully this helps and a little with your confusion

I appreciate it 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 I knew about the rule of 2 which makes sense but he (the self proclaimed sith) didn't explain much when he was questioned by master sol so it was a lot stuff kinda left open for interpretation imo which hopefully they explain later. Thank for the info tho it def helps
