My skull was my reward for winning the marathon world championships in 2010, my triangle on my hand reminds me to keep moving forward and make progress, and my turtle/Pura Vida tattoo on my leg is a reminder of my amazing time in Costa Rica :)
- How do you make money? - CZcams/Freelance film/photo & my clothing brand
- Do you ship Work In Progress clothing world wide? - We ship to most countries.
- What editing program do you use? - Premier Pro CC on Mac
- Did you go to university? - Nope
- Will you be going to the Olympics? - Hopefully if they introduce Marathon Kayaking into the Olympic program!
- Can you tell me where you get your t-shirts printed? - The answer is in one of my vlogs...
- What steady cam do you use? - A really cheap one from ebay.
- Why aren't you training for kayaking anymore? - I see new opportunities everyday, I'm just grabbing them as they appear and keep working hard, right now that's CZcams & Film. I'm happy I made the change!
- How long do your vlogs take to edit? - They vary massively, sometimes 1 hour sometimes 6+

This may sound odd, but I've always found that outdoor winter sports create a very particular brand of tired at the end of the day. Maybe it's a mixture of being hot and cold at the same time, and adrenaline, and an immediate after workout high and exhaustion all at once. I can't describe it exactly, but whether it's snowboarding/skiing, hockey, snowshoeing, or skating the length of the Rideau Canal and back, it all feels the same, and everyone gets a certain look about them. At the end of the vlog, Ben definitely had that look. I'd say it's the look of a good day :)
100%! I love that kind of tired, it's kinda similar to surfing tired but instead of burnt and sore you're cold & sore! :D
The best thing is to lay in a warm bath afterwards... And you always get a good night sleep
***** surfing tired is the best because you just feel so relaxed. I live to just kick back with some good music afterwards.
With the burn of every cold breath going into your lungs. Its what I live for man.
Two things I have decided during these Canada vlogs:
1. Go to Alberta - high in my travel list! Looks like a place that you see in movies and read in books. A paradise!
2. Definitely try Snowboarding! Looks SO FUN man!

Love these snowboarding vlogs, the music goes so well with them.
Sometimes when you had the GoPro on yourself and it was just you & the snow, it looked like you were hardly moving. There just wasn't enough nearby stationary objects like trees to see how fast you were flying past them. But of course, when you took longer shots of Steve or Nicole, we could see how fast they were going. Looks like the most important maneuver to master is braking. I hope the hot tub helps with the whiplash. I love watching your snowy adventures with my warm robe on, & sipping a hot cup of tea. Thanks!

Ben you have inspired me in so many ways to live life to the fullest. Since your last tour to Canada I've wanted to visit, but the winter Canada vlogs have made me want to go even more.
Music selection has been rad lately :)
So as of today my buddy and I are officially going around Europe for 6 weeks during the summer and I gotta say watching Ben's vlogs gave me the confidence to leave my cosy home in Canada, I'm super excited :)
I let my jealousy get in between me finishing a full snowboarding clip. Looks like so much fun, and really good shots Ben!

Ooh the whiplash. I crashed skiing a year ago at Sunshine and got intense whiplash. Nearly broke my neck, i swear. I was in pain for nearly two months. Chiropractor helped once i realized i needed to go but i still felt it for a long time. Definitely get yourself checked out if the pain lasts longer than a few days!
I seriously loved this video! I'm going skiing in 2 weeks and this is getting me so pumped up about it! Loved it man

Again a really amazing snow vlog - this view is breathtaking. I like to sit in the warm watching you filming the view haha not lazy at all :) but i do want to try snowboarding now
Just from one snowboarder to another, when you ride keep your weight centred (unlike skating) only have your weight back when you're in some pow. Can see that when you guys hit above a blue, your weights hit back ;) good ace riding though guys. Lean and keep your hips in line with your board, your arms shouldn't pop out when you turn, it'll tire the poop outta you guys! It's so much more chilled when you dig your toes and heels on the edges & lean into your turns instead of forcing them. That's just what I could see. Love the edits so far Ben. Really making a poor UK kid jealous, come see me at MK snow done sometime? I'll hook you and the guys up? Take care, stay blessed.

It's august for me right now and the wait for the ski season is slowly eating away at me!!! Ugh!! I miss the mountains so much!
My last trip to Norway was sub par, but it looks nice when it's empty! I absolutely love sunshine, and there are tons of beginner runs, but my favourite ski resort in the mountains is Nakiska. They have tons of long flat steep runs and it's never packed.
And so, after losing my job my Mr Ben Brown catch up fest is complete. Now to send another 50 job applications before his next vlog goes live.
