A 5 row repeat pattern for an easy to follow baby blanket. Pattern can be found in 200 Ripple stitch pattern book - Vivid Chevron # 110 pin.it/6qkqnBd33
I’m a visual learner and struggle with reading patterns. All the other variations of this blanket weren’t exactly what I was looking for and trying to adjust it was giving me a headache. But this is exactly what I was looking for! This video was simple to follow and you did a great job showing how to do it. Thank you so much for this!
This is the best tutorial ever! I am a new crocheter and I wanted to make a chevron blanket for my dad. Your directions are so easy to follow and my edges are nice and straight. Thank you so much!!! Please make more!!
I have been wanting to crochet this pattern but could never find written instructions. This is so clear. I love how you take the time to explain and demostrate . By far one of the best tutorials.
I like this tutorial because it is very organized concise and clear with good lighting. This pattern is published in the 200 Ripple Stitch pattern book listed as the Vivid Chevrons #110 and there is no designer listed. Generally speaking there are general patterns from Stitch Pattern Dictionaries and the internet that CZcamsrs are graciously posting tutorials about. These patterns already are published with no authors listed. I do not think that this tutorial is purposefully denying anyone of due credit since it is already published everywhere.
Thank you! I honestly just saw it on pintrest (the written pattern, which i see is no longer on there) and decided to film it. Didn't think anything further. It's not like I ever claimed I sat down and dreamed up the pattern myself 🤷🏾♀️
I'm confused. Even though I do the correct amount of stitches i'm stuck with 9 stitches at the end of the first row. Sould i add 4 instead of 3 or just leave it like is woth one less stitch at the end?
Please check your tutorial...there is some confusion on my side as in you said it was 60 inches wide n 48.5 inches in length...could you have meant it the other way in measurements or is it me who is wrong ? Cuz it just doesnt look 5 feet across. If so I apologize !

@@DIYDanni This pattern is published in the 200 Ripple Stitch pattern book listed as the Vivid Chevrons #110 and there is no designer listed. I posted my comments about this. Not sure if Betty Mcknit is the true designer of this pattern or not. However, I think you are simply showing great tutorials of stitch patterns that are generally available in stitch pattern dictionaries. Keep up the good work!!
@shamalah-allahscott7052 I should definitely reference that book as my source sine they bullied the lady on Pintrest to take down her pattern that I originally used. I see that book was published in 2006 - 17 years ago.
@@DIYDanni Yes, absolutely! Reference the 200 Ripple Stitch Dictionary, pattern #110. That "Mcknit" just asked permission from the Publishing company to use that pattern so she could rebrand it as "6-Day Blanket". She constantly posts CZcams videos and has a following, so people naively think she owns the pattern when she doesn't. Thousands and thousands of CZcamsrs reference Stitch Dictionaries as their source and post great videos such as yours so that the community can really learn and do these patterns. It is so difficult (at least for me) to do my crochet only from a pattern, I need an instructor and I think you were super good and the optics of the video was perfect!😆

@BettyMcKnit I have tried to start this more times than I want to admit. It's just not working to the stitch count of 17 plus 3 for the chain. What could I be doing wrong?

Just add an increase to make up for the missing stitch. (Put 2 stitches into 1 of the stitches instead of 1)
Molto carino grazie

You yarn over(yo) differently as you crochet along! Why?
Pulling the yarn through differently. Some do it that way.
You should give credit to the designer of this pattern
Isn't it in the description 🤔.
