I'm switching over to AB just because of long queue times in Tarkov. Half my total playtime in EFT is prob just waiting for a raid to load, I mean imagine waiting 20 mins for a raid to load then dying almost immediately due to hackers.
imagine being on the art team for this game and being told to make from scratch this weapon copying down to the polygon then animate it almost to the same key frame, making sure its just different enough to not getting into legal trouble. That is a psychotic level of dedication right there, some military grade reverse engineering type beat.
A note to people as for why the reloads are so incredible similar - according to rumors, Arena Breakout was meant to be a spinoff to Tarkov, set in China, until it was eventually separated. Take this with a grain of salt, but it definitely shows in reloads like the AK family.

I haven't played EFT (I don't wanna pay 180 dollars and get scammed), but I've seen a lot of gameplay to tell EFT animations and mechanics are very different compared to ABI. Even the inclination angle when reloading a gun is different (You can see it with the Side by Side comparison of the M4A1). I understand you will try to defend your fav game, after all, you paid at least 50 dollars (+ taxes) to play it, but if you have eyes, you'll see that, for example, in ABI the healing mechanic is different, the recoil is different, the trees, the houses, the water, the attachments, etcetera. PS.: There's no need to fight between our communities, both games are really cool and we can enjoy both. Fighting over games is as stupid as fighting over consoles.

From what I know, during the game development process, you can obtain licenses for many models simply by paying for them, and ABI seems to have better graphics than EFT!
I dont really like some of the graphics, Im not sure how to decribe how I feel about it but it clearly looks how I'd expect a mobile game to look if it was ported to pc
For a game that's supposed to be somewhat realistic (Tarkov), guns pretty much only have horizontal and vertical recoil and almost completely lack the backward and forward kick as the gun cycles. Weird how CoD, an arcade shooter does this in a much more realistic way. The pistol recoil is even worse, the pistols literally have no recoil that's caused by the slide cycling back and forth and the mass distribution of pistols, the front part of the pistol should noticeably recoil upwards with each shot, again just like CoD does it.

I do not think that they made ABI on blueprints of UE4, it means they could copy some code and just compalate throught framework to get c++ code. It is not THAT hard. The animation in AB is basically more jerky. There are some inconsistent speeds. Tarkov feels less "urgent" because its overall movements and weight are consistent. Tarkov is still much faster than most real life scenarios.

Now I see why the sound of the gun is somewhat different. Although one can simply claim they created the animations (out of sight), in FPS games, gun sounds are often recorded from real firearms, and if they copied the gun sounds, they cannot prove where and when they recorded them.
Yes they can. They can see the 'sound wave' file. Because the recording is taken from two different guns with two different ammunition (different amount of powder) with different distance from the gun. There IS going to be some sort of difference noticeable by computer.
Not even reference they straight up ripped it out of the game and reused the animations, only somehow fucking up the transition between actions so they look janky as hell.

Okay guys hear me out I’ve heard in these comments that ab is ripping of eft yet you can’t deny (if you guys played the mobile) yes it’s a ripoff but it has its own roots (pointing to mobile for being the first actually functional eft in phone) and second the game is fun like they made so much better and they really trying to keep up with the thing that Nikita haven’t fixed yet and praying they will also add the replay system from mobile to pc, and if your going to argue about plagiarism then point out the copy cats that actual hit better than there predecessor’s (building blocks/Lego), (fallguys/stumbleguys), (z1/PUBG), and etc. don’t deny nor judge the game by its cover yet okay everyone I know all of you will judge it like that so better try than argue k. ABI main problem is what if BSG run out of player base and money to continue its development then for the latter there will be nothing else to add (cuz i don't think what they are going to spend as much resources as tarkov developers simply because it's will gradually decrease income)

Here is a useless thing you can do for fun: grab a weapon with a magazine with a bullet or more in it but no bullet in the chamber, pull out your pistol right after you take out your primary, put the pistol away, and when you fire the gun, it should cause the old jam animation AB removed to happen.

The pistol recoil is even worse, the pistols literally have no recoil that's caused by the slide cycling back and forth and the mass distribution of pistols, the front part of the pistol should noticeably recoil upwards with each shot, again just like CoD does it.

2nd. I do not think that they made ABI on blueprints of UE4, it means they could copy some code and just compalate throught framework to get c++ code. It is not THAT hard.

I did not said that ABI is dog shit, I had fun in this game. But it does not change the fact, that this game is just a plagiarism of EFT. It is better in some ways, but still: It is not original. They should redo anims, change code and recoil(cuz it gives me p13 wibes) and only after that it will be not a EFT copycat.

The animations in ABI feels more urgent, i allways felt like the guy in Tarkov takes his sweet time to reload everything, its slow.
The animation in AB is basically more jerky. There are some inconsistent speeds. Tarkov feels less "urgent" because its overall movements and weight are consistent. Tarkov is still much faster than most real life scenarios.
Tarkov movement can be fluid and speedy but the reloading stops you like a brick wall

Now I see why the sound of the gun is somewhat different. Although one can simply claim they created the animations (out of sight), in FPS games, gun sounds are often recorded from real firearms, and if they copied the gun sounds, they cannot prove where and when they recorded them.
Yes they can. They can see the 'sound wave' file. Because the recording is taken from two different guns with two different ammunition (different amount of powder) with different distance from the gun. There IS going to be some sort of difference noticeable by computer.

Same thing happened with Delta Force: Hawk Ops, with stolen CoD animations, and people also defended that. Personally, I love them both, both games have their own thing, EFT is more complicated and ABI is more "simple", each factor it has will attract more or less people's attention, for me Tarkov is a great game regarding gameplay and immersion, with several problems regarding its developers but nothing to envy of large companies (except the servers and anticheats) and ABI I see a good future, but if they continue with the cosmetics like those in the version mobile and they don't add wipes, at least in my case, it's not something I'm dying to try

Here is a useless thing you can do for fun: grab a weapon with a magazine with a bullet or more in it but no bullet in the chamber, pull out your pistol right after you take out your primary, put the pistol away, and when you fire the gun, it should cause the old jam animation AB removed to happen.

Irons can be pretty hard to use, especially when you have a gun with stout recoil. Video games simplify the picture _very_ significantly.
