- I never should have went on this ride. I knew the conditions were not ideal. But peer pressure got the best of me. It's been over a year since my last crash. I thought I would make through this year without one. Should I just stop riding? #crash #motovlog #insta360 701 Rider = @Antprilia.

Lol everyone complains about him crashing and how he shouldnt ride like that…. His fucking job is MAXWRIST not halfwrist, people have dangerous jobs and this is why he has 1mil followers. You think people are gonna watch his content if he is going the speed limit?? MAXIMUM WRIST!!!!
Funny ! Not "A little Wrist", Not 2/3 Wrist, Not "A lot of Wrist" but "MaxWrist !
He should start another channel called "MaxRisk"
look at superbike racer.. fast and better rider at street

TRUE! 👊🏻✊🏻
58 lean angle on the road and you ask what happened ????
He may be a super experienced rider but still, how can he still find all sorts of excuses to justify that crash? Maybe it's not all his fault but come on...
I ride a cruiser and just checked my maximum lean angle, 24 degrees! Don't quit riding, just learn to enjoy the ride without an extreme dose of adrenaline. I also noticed it was Harley/cruiser riders who stopped to help you out.
From a Canadian fan.

The amount of people that came to your aid is amazing.
Just trying to clean up the mess so the cops don't happen upon the mess.

@@RelentlessGaming2000
Like this guy genuinely has a thirst for being a reckless AH?
Those guys helping you, are great. No judgemental, no silly questions, just the will to help. Outstanding.
Gotta take some responsibility for the wreck. Seems like you blame your crashes on the environment 9/10 times and not the decisions you make. Not hating but it seems to be a re-occurring theme with all your wrecks.
Totally agree with you 😊👍
Almost all 2 wheel incidents are from going that one last time knowing you shouldn't, myself included. Glad you're good Max, stay up brother.
Very true!! The curse of the “one more time” caught me a few times..
Been There done that, no t-shirt but a few stitches. Bodies heal, the only bad part is the PAIN. Stay true to yourself maxy, you know damn well ya not gonna stop riding.
never stop riding brother@@anonimous2451
Well, that's kind of how time works. It's always gonna be when you decide to go that last time.
That’s the rule skiing also. That last run is the one that’ll hurt you.
Bottom line - If you are going to push hard - everything has to be perfect. Brakes, tires and especially You! A little tired at the end of the day on a cold road with worn tires was the critical mistake.
You nailed brother. If your going to push the limits on or in anything you have to make sure everything is 1000% on point.
Correct, other than for all of the reasons you gave, it was actually a collection of mistakes.
and that includes the road, you have to know the road like the back of your hand down to every pothole, rut and drain.
You left out something- The roads. The roads have to be perfect too and public roads are not even close. That is what the race tracks are for. His days are numbered if he continues.
@spartanx169x I agree, his days are numbered.
I like how you analyzed the slide. There was a reason(or several) that you lost traction. You find out and hope to learn from the mistake. I also like the gap you guys pulled on the rest of the group. 🙌🏻
Yeah- the reason is HE KNEW his tires were ALREADY toast. HE KNEW his tires were cold. And HE KNEW he got baited into a testosterone test. MAX doesn’t get it- still. HES THE PROBLE!
hes shifting the blame from his ignorance and ego to things he cant control. The leader could do it in those conditions. Everybody else did it in those conditions.
If anyone ever deserved to win a Darwin award, it's this guy.
let's pray for it 🙏
He will eventually. He's shown pretty clearly that he doesn't learn from his mistakes. This guy will be a statistic sooner rather than later.
What a nuisance.
As a disabled ex biker
I can say I loved my bikes
But life’s been different and difficult since my crash
And I now miss simple stuff I used to do
One of my hobby’s nearly cost my life and stopped all the other things in life that made me smile
If it’s worth giving ya life for then keep riding
Problem is as bikers we don’t see that till it’s to late
Like I said if I could I’d ride but then I’m a idiot 😂⭐️🙏🏻
Ride safe people
Bro next time let the dude get the truck
As someone with a different injury, I can relate to what you said about difficulties and losing some hobbies. And as a newer rider, that definitely helped sink home my intention of trying to be careful. Thanks for the reminder and good luck
what happened in your crash? i'm sorry.
My father survived that too😢
Dirt bike accident when I was 17. Tore up my knee and life changed after that. Worst thing I did was get on that bike that day.
Drive carefully. Motorcycles are dangerous
🙏🏼
It’s always wholesome to see how literally every biker stops and helps when a crash happens. Doesn’t matter if it’s Harley’s or super bikes or whatever, when a crash happens we all hold strong together no matter what country. Love the community for it. Thankfully nothing happened
its not wholesome to see him literally even not wave to them, just silently u-turn and quits... No thanks, no beers, just left the scene.
Glad you are ok! I went a bit less than a month ago...I had the Tail to myself almost, which is good because I don't ride anywhere near as fast as you! I enjoy the videos and hope you stay well!
“I never should’ve went on this ride”. Famous last words of many
Max your content is fire but, I just hope you are learning from your mistakes. This is not a closed coarse where you can just slide it out. 52 mph into that downed tree could have been enough bro. Be the pro your watchers need ,and make the proactive decisions that need to be made for you ,and your viewers (especially the new guys/gals). Knowing your pushing the limit while knowing your bike is not up to par means .... I hate to say it "Stupid" because being short sighted is too late brother. I am glad your OK.
course - what you describe is a sandpaper grade
egg-zactly!
@@quincyspielberger4366
That’s probably what the road feels like when your sliding down it. 40 grit!
He doesn't want to learn from them because those videos make him money
Learn from his mistakes... haha good one.
My theory as to why your DTC “didn’t save you this time” was the fact that you weren’t spinning the rear tire at that moment, the tire slid out. DTC works off of wheel spin sensors, to make sure that the rear wheel isn’t spinning faster than the front. Looking at your tach, it looks like you’re decreasing rpm coming into the turn, and never got the chance to accelerate before the tire gave up the ghost. DTC wouldn’t have kicked in. As you said, highest lean angle + tire condition = low side. Bummer Max. Glad you’re ok….
Peep the rear tire at 10:38 .. that thing is BEYOND shot
The road surface is crap in places anyway . Spinning the wheel or not wouldn’t have saved anybody in this situation mr ‘ Keith code’ 🙈🤣🤣
when surfing the limits, Michelin tires !
he got on the throttle as he slipped you can hear it
Glad you’re okay brother! My buddy went down right in front of me years back in that same corner, but going in the opposite direction. Thankfully he walked away that day as well!
Guy, like watching a horror movie, you know what’s coming but you still are on the edge of your seat. Awesome the way you put the video together! Glad no injuries! Thank goodness wasn’t a right hander with oncoming traffic!
I am glad you are ok after that spill.
I love how you showed what led up to the crash, your mental state at the time, the weather conditions, the state of your tires and the peer pressure.
You took full responsibility which should be recognised.
The level at which you ride can only be met by a very few.
Your skill set is of the highest order and why so many crash riding with you.
Keep it 100% Maxwrist!!
WTF !! any supposed 'adult' shouldnt use 'peer pressure' as an excuse, and if he had any kind of responsibility wouldnt ride with his m8's like an idiot on a public road like this in the first place. It shocks me how many upvotes this kind of stupidity get's, and the sooner you all remove yourself from the gene pool the better, coz it aint big or clever, and if you want to get the knee down go to a racetrack
It was stupidly plain and simple
Knowing the limits of the machine and tires is paramount to being a good rider. Letting testosterone make that judgment was the mistake. 💯
Love the biking family stopped and all assisted and offered aid where needed. Drive safe, love the vids
My assessment is lean angle and application of throttle at that extreme angle I think. I do not believe it was just “the tyre “per se, but a touch of everything under cold surface low ground tree canopy. Glad to see you’re okay and that you wore the gear.
Do your best and ride safe. Don’t be pressured into something if you don’t feel right about doing. If you feel done riding for the day then you are done. You have to fix your wreck bike no one else.
The only things contributing to that accident was too much speed and too little traction for the corner. The more you partake in these high-risk behaviours, the greater the chance of an accident and injury. Be safe out there Max.
the side of the bike touched the road much inclination or maybe the bike's design
motorcycle drivers arent known to be very smart
Please be more careful. May God protect you from worst accidents. Love from Turkey, brother..🖐️🇹🇷
Looks more kind than the crashes i used to have on a longboard without any protection gear, not even helmet. LOL kek. Stay safe, keep riding.
Never stop riding bro. Stay safe

U rly told this guy to stay safe lmao
100 learn from your mistakes and overcome them. You know what you did wrong and where you lost it. Keep safe though 💪
Na he’s ass he should stop lmaoo
he would, without riding a bike..
Turn off traction control in fact, turn off all the electronics start from the beginning learn how to ride. The bike saves you more than you know due to its electronics. Number one learn throttle control number two listen to yourself when it says don’t ride because your tires worn out temperature is dropping, etc. That’s my advice.
This was throttle induced oversteer at a steep lean angle, rider error.
Yup, lack of precise throttle control.
Analog bikes are the best to ride. No electronic interference. Be funny to see many of the riders today get on an analog bike and try to go fast
@@nemogames1840
Exactly most of them wouldn’t survive at all without the electronics especially Max Wrist traction control saves him every time- almost. Same with wheelie control -ABS brakes. How good of a rider are they really? Maybe it’s just the electronics. Ha
Kind of my thought too. If you are relying on traction control every corner, it seems like maybe you should stop over-throttling it out of every corner.
Thank God you are not that hurt at all. And the bike is kinda ok... stay safe and have fun 🙏🏽❤️
Don't quit bro, you're doing an awesome job. God is keeping you on the Earth for a reason. That reason being to give 99% of the viewers with an IQ in triple digits a great impression of how *not* to ride.... but still, you're doing great work and it's keeping people alive.
Gotta love Antprilla coming in there at the end to lift your spirits up, honestly as soon as that little voice in my head starts second guessing everything on a ride, that's typically my queue to head on home.
You crashed and no one gave you a sticker, I have a MaxWrist Sticker for you since you crashed 🤣🤣🤣 Seriously though, glad you are ok and this was a great video explaining what happened with no BS excuses. I just want to mention one thing that you did that most people don't do, that is once you realized you went down, you let go of the bike which is what you are suppose to do. Sometimes in crashes you can learn from someone else's mistakes! Great Job Wristy!!💚💚💚💚
no bs excuses? all he said was bs excuses lol
@@nova-co3bplosing traction and a tire with grip well thats sound like an excuse 🤡🤓
Lol
Awesome riding bro. Things happen, you just move forward and continue to enjoy life.
Strange loss of the rear there bro. Glad your ok. Keep it shiny side up🏍
Max I'm glad that you are ok and that you went back to the site to analyze why you crashed. After re-watching the video I think something bottomed out first before you lost rear traction. The light colored ground scrapes you describe are present in the crash day video and start well before the tire sliding to the right of them as shown in the follow up. I'd highly recommend sending that bike to GMD, FrameMan or someone similar to confirm geometry - straighness.
Having watched a few of your track videos I think my previous comments are still appropriate... At the speeds you are riding, I believe you would find of benefit some legitemate competition riding training. Keith Code, Yamaha School etc. Sucks seeing you risk yourself and these beautiful expensive machines to distruction. Fast motorcycle riding is no joke..on or off the track.
Glad your all good I’m the dude on the cbr I was excited about riding with you all never thought it would end like that but glad you u made home safe👏🏻
6:20 my homeboy was about to drag his elbow going downhill on a public road , if the tires were new and the road was dry and in higher temperature wouldnt crash for sure . GG max not only you have insane driving skills , edits are on point as well. Keep riding brother, and stay safe
Sad thing but u gotta love the solidarity here. Wish u the best :)
Glad to see u are ok, you are pushing too hard, I know it is your "work" and that's why you are made of... Ride safe my man😊
I’ve watched you improve your riding tremendously over the years, watched you even make better decisions, this will hopefully teach you yet another lesson which is to always follow your gut. Glad you’re not hurt and next time hopefully you’ll heed the inner voice that tells you no when you know better.
this dude can’t ride for shit, don’t follow his example
All things considered, not a bad crash. Good on yall for full gear. We all are responsible for our own risk assessment, so as long as your wallet and your body can take it, keep going for it. We're all gonna go out someday sooner or later and you're not putting anyone else at risk so hey, enjoy life man
Glad to see you're able to get up and about quickly. My question is did you leave your offering at the Tree of Shame? Should've video'd that as well 🙂 Ride Safe Brother!
Keep riding. It's good that you are looking at what factors caused the crash.
#1 factor - too fast 😂
@@rockout1180how 52 mph is too fast ? 😂it's the speed limit in most countries on earth 😂

Max you are the man! This happens to everyone if you ride enough, and you know it lol. Another great video and hope the repairs go quick.
Glad you're ok. Keep riding bro.
The way you were riding it was only a matter of time before you went down... Glad you okay though buddy, stay safe out there

the fact you keep making your "friends" crash.... YES stop riding

Thanks for the update and the analysis. This will help other riders. I'm glad you're OK. You should DEFINITELY keep riding! 👍😊
Could have been a lot worse! Good to see the support you have Maxxy, both on and off the roads. Stay steady Bro!
glad you ok brother. been watching you for awhile now man.. well done Maximus Wristus Awsomeus..
You are a great rider and keep on riding . Just stop trying to run after others and enjoy your ride ! Be safe 🙏
Great recovery!
Glad you were okay and the bike too (mostly).
It's always easy to go "aw man, I shouldn't have taken that risk" or "I should have done this instead". But we all take risks and sometimes sh*t happens.. All we can do is get back up!
KTG!
Greetings from England 🏴 Ay big respect to all the fine gentleman who helped you out that’s solidarity in our sport and that’s worth everything in these days of hate and divide, keep riding, stay strong and keep pushing that’s what we do.
Thank you for posting this video! Pretty cool how all the bikers came over to help. Gotta love it! Ride safe
We learn from our mistakes. You just became a better rider.
Never give in to fear!
Keep riding bro!
God Bless
Give into fear every time: it's saved plenty of lives of those wise enough to do it.
That's a deep thought for you man. Nobody but you can make that decision. Peace. Godspeed.
👍Glad you're good.... Like how you analyzed the how and why it happened, that just broadens other riders senses to another possible scenario to try and keep in the back of their minds
Biker community at its best. They all are helping hands. Thanks for sharing. You are too early on the gas.Thank god it was a low sider, not a high sider.
I love this spirit of mutual help between riders ... glad you're doing well😘
Didn’t even thanked them 🤡
You shouldn't stop riding... but maybe not pushing the limits would be a good plan. Unless you have a death wish.
I love how you're trying to figure it out like you can learn from it and not have that happen in the future. Surely by now you guys understand that every time you take a corner on random roads like you do you're taking a risk and this is the corner where your luck ran out. No amount of skill or calculation can stop this happening, it's just going to happen sometimes when you ride like you do. Of course the real dice you are rolling are the ones that decide the level of injury you sustain.
Thank god your okay man god bless you always ride safe🤙
Would have been nice to have seen the back tire close up. What it was, how many miles, tire pressure you normally have it at, rough temp that afternoon etc. Tires are so important and there is so much more we all need to know about them. Glad all worked out okay in the end and all is good. Take care man. 😊
Glad to see you and the bike are ok brother. But Its always that, last stoppie, wheelie or last ride that will catch you out there. Never stop KTG and never again go against that Riders gut feeling again. You have it for a reason.
Thank you very much for the great video, I watched it and it seemed like I was driving💪🏻🤩👊🏻
glad to see that nothing serious happened and just a smooth sliding. Luckily none was behind at the same riding pace. The problem is that electronics works great, but that time that does not, it is totally unexpected by the rider. At that lean angle not even a professional rider might be able to react.
glad youre okay brother. scary shit, i went down for the first time on track. completely fine but i was shook. cant imagine going down on the road. thanks for uploading this
Glad you're ok mate..never stop riding...that's crazy.
Your a dam good rider. Very happy you had all your gear on. Hard to give up riding your rocket. It's not worth taking the risk on low tread.
Glad you're okay that's all that matters man God Bless you Amen!!!
If you knew you needed the rear changed you should have done it bro you slippin
Exactly, I usually change tires at 30% tread left. And I use sticky tires, not high mileage tires.
Keep riding but you should know by now to ride your own ride. If you know your rear tyre is finished then why start pushing limits...? It doesn't make sense. This is a rookie mistake tbh
Let alone the fact that he is relying 100% on the traction control every corner.
Exactly, bikes don’t crash and you can’t blame the tire. It was you and only you that made the mistake. I’ve ridden on a Dunlop GP Pro and the rear was down to the cords. I didn’t do this on purpose and the tire dropped off gradually. It was starting to slide around, but was very controllable because I wasn’t leaned over to 52-55 degrees when I picked up the throttle. Once I pulled over and noticed I just cruised home. Moral of my story is don’t lean over to the max lan angle right before apex on a downhill turn and open up the throttle as much as you did. It came around so easy all because of your unwillingness to stay at a neutral throttle for just a few mor feet the pick the bike up a little before giving in the beans. Watch Jake Gagne ride. I hope you stop blaming the bike or tires. You’ve got to figure it out sooner than later. Max Wrist was the problem 😂
Amazing video, glad you re ok !!
I think you ride well plus super exciting to watch. Keep at it dude we all die eventually. If you stopped riding you wouldn’t be living how you want to 🤷♂️
Im glad your okay man. Leaning on the TC isnt gonna end well log run dude. . take care Brother ❤
So glad you are okay brother 🙏🏻 mad love and respect
Could the double yellow line been a factor? I realize the tires were cold and the rear bald but just curious from other sport riders if that is something you try to avoid when doing extreme lean angles
hey bro we all human, we feeel invincible till we aint, dial it back a bit, I bet this humbled u. U a great rider (and improving--as we all are), I wouldn't stop doin what ur doin if ur being serious
Pleased that you are safe and sound after this accident...you’ll always ride!
Honestly I think his life is worth more than views and these ignorant followers who think it’s his “job” and he should keep doing it. No matter how good you are everyone makes mistakes. My best friend died on a bike going 20mph, hit his neck the wrong way. No one is immortal and I bet all y’all will feel like shit especially when he asked “should I keep ridding”. Max wrist you a LEGEND, wether you stop or keep going.
fuck, that rewind made me jump more than the wreck 🤣🤣💀💀 Glad you're alright man
It seems like a very normal crash for the angle and speed. Obviously the roads are not made for racing so anything can affect your riding .
Still, this can be a lesson to many.
Max is a very experienced rider but he couldn't avoid this.
Stay safe and keep riding !
Great physical skills horrible mental skills. Don’t stop riding but STOP RIDING IN A MANNER THAT GETS YOU OR OTHER PEOPLE HURT…
Sorry this happened Max, happy you’re safe and sound.❤❤❤
Its not about you riding it's about making wiser choices. Bad tires cold road 5 dollar ego trying to write million dollar check. Don't blame anyone or anything. You made the decision. I'm very happy you're ok . Happy the bike is fixed or getting fixed. Just stop and think more. You're much older now so slow down and think more. Don't give into pier pressure. You have way to many that love and actually care about. Much love wristy be safe
I felt it dude, 4 months back I had the same scenario kinda accident
Heck no! I raced mx for years, a few broken bones, a few concussions, one coma. I’ll ride until I can’t anymore 🤙🏻💯
Just my two cents but there’s a lot more bridges on the dragon then people realize and when it gets late and cool, the road gets more dew over the bridges than the rest of the road just before it gets dark and that is one of the corners that has a bridge or a culvert going underneath the road when it’s cool out we should all know where they are!!! glad you’re OK!!! poor bunny, was terrified!!!😮😢❤
Yes my heart sank. 💞🐰
He's just too bad to drive bro, he's leaning 58° into a curve even tho his display says his maximum lean angle is 57°. On the second view you can even see his footrest dragging on the road... not the bikes fault
Bunny’s face 😂I think she knew this ride was a bad idea before it started
I’m glad your good keep doing what your doing don’t ever stop unless is up to youv
Noon question here… how much lean should one be doing on the road? I see his max Lena angle is 57 and he did 58, but should it be much less considering road conditions? What’s the rule of thumb? Thanks
Never stop riding. I am like you, we keep pushin our limits to the test all the time.
