There are no river rocks where I live and I finally found a place where I can buy them for a mere 13 cents a pound (it still seems wrong to pay for rocks). Anyway, I bought 12 3” average rocks and 2 larger ones for $2.36 in including tax. Now I can finally try out your wonderful painting method. Thanks Rachel!

After watching painting on rocks ...i have MS and LUPUS so I've crafted since I was 10 yrs old now at 60 I still craft many thangs.. but did rocks last CHRISTMAS in surprise boxes for my whole family little girls & little boys...big guys & big gals after everyone got their gift ..I had saved toco salad boxes with the bell which I cover inside bell with pink..red .light blue..and dark blue tissue paper I put diffent items in each box depending on age, one of each color had a $ 5 gift card in it...and every box had a special paint rock like ur owl...1 was American flag..1 was a dog...1 was a Minnie mouse..1 was a fire place and called hot rock...and many other of ur rocks...everyone had to just pick a box in their color to see who the gift card and everyone got rock not as BEAUTIFUL as yours but they all loved the painted rocks I dated on the back so everyone would remember me-maw''s crazy but fun Christmas...so I thank you so much...and love ur videos...and ur voice ...i feel like I've known u as a food friend...GOD BLESS YOU...I probably mis-spelled or left a few word out but I hope get the message...

Why do you sometimes choose glitter paint or nail glitter? What do yoi find the difference to be please?
Do you spray the rock first to prepare the surface?
No I don't spray them with anything. If the rock is super bumpy I seal it with resin and paint on it once it's dry. Just makes it easier to paint. But most of the time I don't.

Wait so the red powder was chrome powder without the baking- just on the paint or is it nail glitter powder? I have lots of chrome powder colors but not ‘glitter’. I love all your work and this is really beautiful in its simplicity. Still keeping fingers crossed on your lining brush. I know you’re working on it!
The red powder is chrome powder without Curing it under a uv lamp. You can use it as fine glitter this way. Instead of the chrome look.

I have a question. So this glitter powder does not use a uv base coat under it first? Just brush it on over paint?

I use it in different ways for some of my tutorials I use the Chrome powder on top of UV nail Polish and sometimes I just use the powder on dry acrylic paint it gives it a different look. You can use it however you want.🥰

What other colors can we use instead of the Hologram 2796? I can’t find it anywhere.
Any kind of clear sparkle paint you can find!! Dragonfly glaze by folkart is amazing as well and there are a bunch of colours! I have used nail polish at times as well!! Just let it dry before you seal 😉
