I have several sets of those leads i bought them off the usual Jungle site . I like them about as well as my expensive fluke leads . I think that meter may be good for checking batteries and fuses and thats about it .
I do like the probe sensing feature, as for the auto range never a fan of it ! I imagine you are correct it would be hard to see outside in direct sunlight or very bright lighting? But I am curious as to how many US Dollars it would cost ??? Thank you for your review of this product
will not 0V on a psu with a very low output impedance show up as a short on a meter that is trying to back feed the PSU with it's resistance measuring voltage. if it's trying to put a current through the resistance then it is a short.
i suppose it depends if it tries to do a resistance test before doing a voltage test in auto mode.
that's my 10$ worth, it will always have the capacity to error. Just had to get the cap word in 🙂
Благодарю. Вы молодец. подробно и внятно. Удачи!
I got the 683. Impressed as i have a far more expensive meter too. I have checked the calibration using a standard calibreated voltage source and current source for both ac and DC. Rather accurate! I did not like the leads and bought meaty 1000V and 10 A leads.
im looking to buy a lowbuck Multimeter.. whats good ??
Mention the counts when you mention the accuracy please.
wonder where to get those dual banana jacks with the 19mm spacing. would be cool to get a few of those and make up some cables
If you mean the grey test cable’s those are Pomona, you can buy just the plugs too, try places like digikey, mouser, arrow, rs components or element 14
As Scott said.....but be careful Ebay etc.....loads of fake ones around, probably not as good a spec as the genuine ones.
I have several sets sans guard lead I bought barely used that are nice. Internally they are twisted pair. I would like a shielded twisted pair with guard connection like he has there.
I wonder if the display is still readable under bright sunlight when used outdoors
I can't read the display outdoors, and teh sunlight isn't even bright.
I can't get my 682 to turn off. Can someone help?
which is more good? aneng 682 or aneng 683?
ANENG 683 Smart Multimeter High-end Touch 6000 Counts-has Touch Screen + Manual mode which is more accurate...
Is the models 681 and 682 the same, with 682 being a black screen?
681 is normal monochrome LCD, which probably gives it substantially better battery life since you can read the display without backlight (682 backlight uses it all the time). Not sure if the all the features match 100%.
@@tohtorizorro Thanks.
sale bueno este equipo
Qual é o melhor dos dois, 682 ou 683?
683
Got the 683
The lack of manual voltage mode makes it 💩
The 683 has manual voltage
Can you show me how to test the battery ampere? (lead, alkaline, lithium...)
you dont test battery ampere directly if you dont know the battery specs or if it exceeds the measuring range
@@ptoktedia9011 This meter has an auto function (detect). Not sure if it can detect or automatically adjust the suitable values to measure?
@@digicabtech based on the video, if the red probe is connected to mA/A, the meter will automatically set itself to current reading, not everything else (volt, ohm, temp, etc). That's what happened to me too. But i think it will stay with mA reading until it reaches 9000mA and switches to A when the current is bigger than that. I never tried it with that kind of current (9A) though, so i can't really help with that question.
@@ptoktedia9011 I tried the same way, but it does not work for me. my meter model 683. I would love to see what ampere has left on some of my batteries (lithium, lead, alkaline, etc.)?
@@digicabtech did you mean you want to see what Ah (ampere hours) left in the battery? as in you want to see how much capacity left in the battery?
Cool can I get 1
That one is not for me in all of its aspects and I want fysical knobs! Auto mode, meeh, don't like it.
Wow that is some crappy meter. From my screen that LCD display is totally unreadable on the underside, and if you have problems with that hands on, it must be really really bad.
Personal I think these types of meters are a pure gimmick and a waste of money. A conventional multimeter with normal display and a selection dial is way more useable and pretty much better in every aspect. This formfactor can't even incorporate a decent stand (in fact, not a stand at all), and selection buttons on the side....not very good for visibility...
To me, people who buy these meters (and I mean pretty much all meters in this formfactor) don't have a clue about using a multimeter. That something that looks like a phone doesn't make a good form factor for a multimeter. I call it buying with your eyes and not with your brain....
No manual voltage selection is pretty poor design....
At this pricepoint you're way better off buying the Aneng AN8009 (small form factor) or especially the Aneng AN870 (normal form factor). Those are good multimeters for their pricepoint (~$30). Better specs, more functions and way better useability.
Poor quality product
