      Thank you for the content you’re putting out! I’m starting a minute concepts video series later today or tomorrow depending on upload time and a lot of it is due to the content you cover. Coming from a military background a lot of times I get in a western logistics heavy training mentality, when in reality that is not practical for a minute man.

      You’ll see this rig in future videos. I like it, but I would pick up an extra. I think these will last awhile, but I’d have one you train in and one you have for a rainy day. At the price it’s pretty doable. I’ll be curious to see how it holds up long term.

      The reason why people shit on this rig is because it’s sold by Condor, which is known for selling a lot of Chinesium gear. To be fair to those who unfairly write off the 7 pockets rig, a lot of Condor’s rigs are shitty. I totally get why people would assume the 7 pockets is probably garbage.
      But I guarantee if they gave it a chance they’d be surprised. Plus it’s like $30 so you can get a shit ton of them.

    Might be 'modeled' on UK chest webbing bu!. On the issue unit we could hold a UK water bottle (which is bigger than the US) also no opening behind the none ammo pouches. points to note it get in the way when in the prone position , so in my era we never fastened the belt strap .

    I am also an officer, and actual use and equipment show that chest rigs that carry Rifle magazines and other types of ammunition have lower costs and are significantly more effective. MOLLE system models may be more effective in some conditions, but will be limited in many ways that enthusiasts simply don't want. You can see how popular the Chicom chest rig is, as well as defense logistics companies designing chest rigs with larger magazine pouches and some more versatile pouches, all based on the design. Seems bulky and interferes with arm movement?

    • @redbarronreviews2429
      @redbarronreviews2429  Před rokem +4

      It’s not really that bad, at least I don’t notice it. Keep in mind I’ve got this loaded out pretty heavy. If you’re in the field for a long time you’re going to have a fair amount on you. You could light load the GP pouches and move the water/IFAK elsewhere.
      Even my army TAPS kit has bulk on the sides but I find this rig is more comfortable. Anytime you carry sustainment on you you’re going to run into issues with gear on your sides. You can run a belt set up for water, but then you get into issues running some packs or issues with in/out of vehicles. There’s definitely pros and cons to everything and user preference is the key. the nice thing is this rig is cheap enough that if you don’t like it you’re not out much.

      I have one and I do like it as a stand alone rig without armor underneath. The only draw back is it’s easy to get it unbalanced due to the design. It’s a little better quality than some of their other rigs as well.
