  • 🇺🇸🇬🇧 You'll probably have found out that many aircraft models are jet planes, really complex and exposed to burnt and soiled metals. In this video, Pablo shows us how to paint, from start to end, these effects with techniques that can be re-used over similar modern aircraft models' engines too!

    I liked the filter that was used on the airshow clip. I felt like I was watching a spy film.

    Brilliant, really nice work. But I can't ever recollect seeing those colours on British A/C, I've worked on Tornado GR1/2000/GR4, Harrier GR7/7A, Hawk T1/1A, Typhoon tranch 1 to 4. All the British A/C are usually covered in soot and oil. I remember very well on one NATO exercise when on Harriers one of the other Countries stating 'Why are your A/C so dirty' I think he was on about all the oil that leaked out of Harriers, a sieve comes to mind. But my answer pure class, 'When we had British Motorbikes they always leaked, if you parked it up and came back, there was no oil patch under the bike..... It had no oil in it!!!'. Damn good indicator. When on Hawk T1 the cockpit floors behind the Ejection seats were awash with Hydraulic oil from the foot mototrs, once the seats were out you stuck to the floor, like treacle. By the way Hyd. oil is a transparent red when clean and goes browny red black when old.

    Las técnicas interesantes para experimentar, sin embargo el resultado final no me parece, los colores excesivos en azul crean la ilusión de un juguete y no un MIG-29

    Very nice video. Was wondering something though, what color does the Jet Exhaust look like? I'm interested in potentially using this color for some power armored troopers, but wouldn't know what colors to use to highlight this color and maybe even what colors to use to go with it.
    How effective is this color out of the bottle for bristle brush painting, as I don't have an airbrush.

      Hello Grey! It's a pleasure lending a hand :) Here you can see two step-by-step guides talking about exhaust or heat discoloration. We hope they help you ;)

    Thank you, very informative! One question: did you apply a layer of varnish between the different steps on the nozzle or did you work directly on the metal color?

    Excelente video!!! Para dar ese tono azulado y cobre se puede utilizar pintura transparente, o diluir con el glaze médium?

    • @vallejocolors
      @vallejocolors  Před 2 lety +1

      Esperamos la respuesta de Pablo pero, seguramente, si, puedas diluir para un acabado más translúcido :)

    Dears from Vallejo, I'm big fan of your products but this technique it was bad... It's not a correct Vallejo result. Sorry for my not good comment but I'm feeling say to you the true.

    • @pabloalbornoz8214
      @pabloalbornoz8214 Před 2 lety +1

      Hello MNSGR! thanks for your opinion, there are several techniques that could be used, some simpler, such as using the candy effect, or directly using the different shades of metal color from dark to light, but in this video I try to go further and show options that are not have been shown in no other videos , that they can be used not only in engines but in many other things, such as the use of metal medium among others, it is not a definitive technique or a lot of techniques, but is a series of alternatives , of poss to be able to choose the ones that knows or considers to be the best, it is like a fashion Model show, one sees everything on the model, but surely only uses a part, I hope my explanation will serve 👌
      Which technique or set of techniques would you recommend showing? I can make another video about it in the future and of course I would consider it and show it 👌☺️

      @@pabloalbornoz8214Hi dear Pablo, thank you for your feedback. My proposal for a same project about metallic & candy effect is only to use airbrush for the paints and washing via brush.
