I agree Bonnie Raitt is definetly a girl that can rock and should have been there

É a resistência da mulher no Rock 🎸
She announced Solo Off-Broadway Show 3 weeks only, October 13 - 29 AT NEW WORLD STAGES
On yeah!
Wow I've never seen this. All these women are my idols. Stevie and Bonnie would have topped it off.
i don't think stevie could be apart of this because she doesn't really play guitar
@@Annadmcbride huh??
I love Stevie, her and Ann are my favs
@@kimberlymayes4061 the whole show was about female guitarist and Stevie doesn’t really play guitar so it would be odd for her to be their
@@Annadmcbride I don't recall Amy Grant or Cyndi Lauper play guitar either, yet they were on here.
Wynnona Judd played guitar on stage while with The Judds and solo so that's why she is here.
wow! what a lineup of fabulous female musicians! only gripe where the Fuck is stevie Nick's??.
Stevie doesn't play guitar.
With Pat Benatar. WTF?

Me and Jennifer Foutz saw Amy Grant in Concert. It was a night to remember she was awesome!!!
Wow what a pair Melissa and Amy Grant
This is what woman should do...
That was an amazing show , curios to know ,did distanys child get some stage time to do a song with one or more of the ladys?
Ann.
27:05 ahhhhhhh!
Loretta should of been on here!
They did THIS BEFORE AMERICAN IDOL
If Sheryl Crow could be there in 2000 and 2001, so could Pat Benatar. They needed to have Pat here!!!!
Is the music from this show available for download?
If I was to have a funeral, I'd like this song played.
Where is steve nicks?
''Girls with guitars'' the answer is in the title
Now that would be a show to remember.
I would literally murder someone if it meant being in the audience for this. Oh. My. God.
OHHHHHHh scheissie
4 of the best on stage ?
Where was Joan Jett?
Where was Lita Ford? Better on guitar than that entire stage, no disrespect to Nancy, Melissa, Sheryl, nor Wynonna.
But the lead breaks are played by guys .WTF ?
get over your self-hate Alan
@@skipwin9895 ?
Still waiting for NANCY WILSON to accept my Marriage Proposal.....
Is there a DVD?
Not that I know of.
Sheryl crow
The purpose is defeated by including men in the musical numbers. It’s like saying there are not enough great female guitar players, drummers, keyboard players… where’s Orianthe?
Orianthe was 15 years old in 2000... However, I agree with your point. It's true that for centuries men are first choice in every department/area/position etc - because men rule/dominate and decide. And they like to keep it that way. Obviously, the producers of Women Rock! were no different and very much a part of patriarchy.
@@HestersMusicVideos The world has changed in 20 years and Covid has brought more women to the fore, especially through home performing on the net. I also think genre of music has something to do with it, if you wonder over into blues there are a quite a lot of women playing bass, drums, guitar, keys etc and have been for a while, in other genres not so much the case... but it is changing!!!
@@andymurray9811 and now it's changing back
Debbie Peterson of the Bangles or Gina Schock of the GoGos on 🥁 or Maureen Tucker pioneer of Velvet Underground.
Maybe bonnie rait didnt want to be there cuz ellen degeneres was there.
remember that man told Joan Jett women couldn't play electric? it wasn't "allowed"? HAH!
Mz Jett could buy and sell that man now.
Poor Ann. I guess they did that thing with her hair to hide her weight when if she would have just looked natural it would have been better. That hair is ridiculous.
Chris Acer who gives a shit about how she looks that awesome voice is what matters
She's beautiful but the record labels owned ur ass, your money, n ur music, n they told u what u had to do n what you could n couldn't do!!
Melissa Etheridge sing the lyrics so close to her real life and her extra vocals n vocals parts are great but someone's a little off key maybe?? Y'all hear it in the 3 part harmonies where someone's a little off.
Never ever liked Cheryl Crow. She literally slept to her musical career/success.
What do you mean, and how do you know?
Disagree. Google the songs she's written and whos singing em. Then she wrote n sang her own show.
Are you for real?? Wow! She's probably one of the most talented artists out there...writes, produces, sings, plays every instrument, writes songs for other people, for soundtracks, won 9 Grammys... Nominated for 32 total, sold 50
million albums... What the hell... Slept her way?? Wow... So much for women supporting women.... Just wow... Do some research... A 30 year career and going strong. Don't think she needed to sleep her way there..... At the very least, spell her name right?
That's a really s***ty thing to say, Karen Hilker. That misogynous poison is what men say about women to cut us down, lie about us, discount that we might actually have any talent, value or worth. All women are good for is sex and if we have anything we must have f***ed someone to get it. Women who play this same horses*** on other women, that's low. If you don't like Sheryl Crow's music or you think she doesn't write her own songs or you can't believe she said "Xyx... about Liverpool" in Hit Parader last month, say so, that's fair. But tearing a sister down saying she got to where she is on her back is woman-hating, un-imaginative, lazy and helps our misogynist system keep women down.
And show Ms Sherl Crow the basic respect of spelling her name accurately.
If you’re going to insult her with misinformation and false accusations-at least spell her name correctly --Its Sheryl. Thank you.
