I recommend this great book to caregivers. There are several places to buy it. Just do a Google search for "the 36-hour day." I'm not receiving any compensation for suggesting you buy this book, but I found it very helpful.

Hi Helen. I just watched your video. It is so nice of you to help take care of your friend. I used to be a caregiver and then my brother - in-law got sick so I had to take care of him then right after him my sister, then my mom. So I have to give it to you because after my mom I was done with taking care of people. Have a good day
Thank you, Mary, for your heartfelt comment. God gave me the gifts of service and hospitality. I'm getting to use them. It is very fulfilling for me. Caregiving can certainly take a lot out of people. The important thing for caregivers is to take care of themselves, which I am doing. I appreciate you, Mary.
What a poignant message for me. Unfortunately. My husband of 49 years was recently diagnosed with lung cancer. My head and my heart are very saddened. He’s being worked up for a treatment plan but believe that his end is coming. So sad!!!! Thanks for your good words. Much appreciated.
@IMOM123, My heart goes out to you. When my husband and I received the diagnosis about his leukemia it was like being hit between the eyes with a two by four. I will keep you and my thoughts and prayers.
