Great straight forward video! Thankyou for sharing.
Just a tip, the Toyota FSM actually tells you *not* to remove the 2 bolts in front of the caliper, rather, it tells you to remove the 2 bolts on the bracket attached to the knuckle. And if you remove the ones on the front caliper you need to reinstall in and tighten it in increments of 30nm top to bottom and 100nm final top to bottom while the engine is on and brake pedal is depressed.

Good video and I think people would appreciate similar ones for the jobs that can be done at home. I remove the large metal clip first from the easy end then small locking wire then rods. The wire you can just use finger to get the middle hook through the hole. Then you don’t need to touch caliper or bend wire. 👍

Hi Phil !! Greetings from Sweden !! :-) Very good video ! I appreciate very much that you dedicate so much time to help us !! I agree that we need more videos like this !!! Any way I need !! :-)
Like "Airbus XWB" mentioned a video that shows oil change of gearbox , diff front + rear , engine, and also a video that shows how to change to Endless brake lines and maybe how to install CUSCO Sway Bar Kit ( or other brand of your choice ) .
I wish you a very nice weekend and Holiday !!

Da fällt mir ein… Welche Bremsscheiben verwendest du? In dem Video, in welchem du sie vorgestellt hast, wurde noch keine Marke oder Bezugsquelle genannt.

I don’t want to be that guy but the front disc you showed being fitted looks like the cooling vanes are going the wrong way around. It looks like the disc for the other side (unless they aren’t handed and one disc always spins the wrong way around?).

It's because Toyota/Lexus run the vanes the other way around to what's considered conventional. There are discussions around this on the UK GR forums.

It‘s exactly the same as OEM.
So unless Toyota fucked that up pretty good, it‘s correct. 😁

      @@RotheliRacing thanks for responding :)
I had an ST205 GT4 and they did have ‘handed’ discs that went in the opposite direction. I’m enjoying the series on the Yaris, thanks for the content 👌🏻👍🏻

Wie heissen die Titanhitzeschutzplatten für die Bremsbeläge. Ich finde die nirgends.

Weil ich die nicht mehr verkaufe. Hersteller sitzt in Russland.
