I said the same thing about how I feel like I’m more invested in the women’s basketball players now. I’m more interested in watching the WNBA this year for that reason alone. I have to thank Angel Reese for first getting my attention, because what got me paying attention to women’s basketball is when she made that mocking hand gesture to Caitlin Clark and the controversy was covered all over the media, lol. Before that, I had no idea who either of them were and had no interest whatsoever in watching women’s basketball. Now I know who way more women’s college basketball players are than men, and I feel invested in following their stories and careers.

Also, I’m assuming that you probably didn’t watch the draft picks last night, there was literally a line filled with people wrapped around the building just to see the girls, and the actual theatre itself was packed.
