    Ball valve to rinse always seems to be the best option due to the noise that it makes while being choked down, however we have found that a 25° or 40° tip with an oversized orifice (2520 4gpm and 2540 8gpm is what we now use to rinse, water sweep, etc, most definitely on close up stucco). Ball valve takes too long and doesn't rinse as even. Yes I know the video is about soft wash application on stucco, just throwing a little suggestive comment to the ones that are rinsing with ball valves. Good video though.

    I find these videos so amusing, I am 60 years old and we have been applying bleach (sodium hypochlorite) to all surfaces to clean them for years. These videos make me laugh because they really think they are teaching you something new. All these high tech trucks with all the pumps and hoses can be achieved with a simple pump sprayer. Mix up 50/50 bleach to water with 1 ounce soap per gallon and spray it on. It will do the same thing. You want to make it go faster, add an electric pump to apply the mixture. If you can't figure out how to spray this mixture to any surface with out someone instructing you, you have no business playing around with harmful chemicals. Saturate all grass and plants with water and spray the mixture, I guarantee great results without spending thousands of dollars. Just one farmers opinion.

      Nobody thinks they're teaching YOU anything old man, but for a lot of folks, it is new information. You could have bottled up your knowledge and made a million bucks making a youtube video :)

    • @PlasmArtFabricating
      @PlasmArtFabricating Před 2 lety +2

      Well young man, EZ waterblasting since you commented it would be a safe bet you learned something from the old man.
      I owned a pressure washing business in the 80's washing tractor trailers. And at times houses, tennis courts etc.
      It was my machines and water tanks on my trucks that got peoples attention. One machine was a steam cleaner. Oh how the people reacted when I fired it up.
      Rarely did I have it hot enough to really make a difference and I Rarely used chemicals. The different tips made the job easier.
      A friend owned a window wash business and when he saw the money I made he began washing houses. He used the same equipment he had to wash windows. A ladder, hose, squeegee and a few chemicals.
      He could charge less since he had no machines to pay for.
      His work was no different than mine. A clean house both ways.
      I agree with the old man as I now am an old man.
      If you noticed when he was just applying the chemicals the black streaks began to turn white. Just that slight pressure removed the stain. I just returned from Louisiana where my brother in law house is and all the storms stained his brick, siding and concrete. Dark black and gutters were stained.
      I cleaned his entire house using just his pressure washer with no chemicals!
      Yes sometimes chemicals are needed. But wash it first and then if needed apply the chemicals .
      You will save a lot of chemicals if done after pressure washing.
      Same principle to washing a car. Hose it off prior to washing the car.

      Being that the video is called “How to clean stucco”… It seems like it is intended to teach us (those that don’t know how to do it) something new. I don’t think it’s really intended for those that have 60 plus years of experience. Seems like you’re bashing the guy for trying to teach people while others appreciate his time and effort for creating his content.
