I was sitting here thinking this must be some vintage 70s tune like most of the stuff in this film and was wondering how I could never have heard it before. Excellent rumble man. The guitar tone was epic.
I was BLOWN AWAY by this song after hearing it for the first time as the credits rolled on the movie: Black Phone, a truly KILLER movie!
Man, you need to do more stuff with Barrie. He's the perfect compliment to your stuff.
Excellent song!
Why it isn't on Spotify or another place Anton ? This song is a masterpiece!
Cause Apple sucks!😅
Cool song!! Not found by Shazam. Thanks for sharing!!
Bloody excellent! I’m an old git and haven’t anything this good in decades!
Why it isn’t on spotify ? 😢
Right?!
Cos Anton is an artist...not a prostitute
Wonder the same, it’s a great song 🤩🎶🎸
TRUE😢😢
When I heard this song at the end of the film, I thought to myself that this has to be some band from the late 1970s that I was just not familiar with. The music reminded me of The Dictators or even some of Kim Fowley's stuff. Would have never guessed this was written & performed by the founder of BJM. Very cool.
You would like The Brian Jonestown Massacre...
Total 7o’s vibe + crunch + melody action. Suits the movie perfectly as the lyrics tell of Finn’s new killer instinct, freedom + redemption. Throwback to so many 7o’s bands, I had to check my head - reel thru the years, but couldn’t place it. (13 Floor Elevators? Bloodrock? Captain Beyond? Stray? definitely a dirty Detroit groove…) Behold! A new killer tune by the Maestro from the Brian Jonestown Massacre. But of course it is. Great song to a pretty damn great little horror movie. Just…wow
I just watched Black Phone. This song is so cool and like stuff I listened to back in the '70s
just watched the movie black Phone and the best was at the end with this number 🙏🏻❤️
Any reason why this masterpiece is not available on any streaming services?
Get this on Spotify or Apple Music immediately!!!!!
Man, the guitar work in that song is bad ass big time. I totally dig it.
Such a killer tune! Anton is unstoppable lately! I can’t believe how he continues get better & better with age. Saw him in Detroit & Chicago this past April & he/BJM were amazing!
Would have loved to have heard a collaboration with Mark Lanegan before he passed away
We talked about It
That would have been amazing
@@antonfjordson ugh I’m sorry. Dark Mark’s Bubblegum album is one of my fav all time
I just watched the movie last night. It was really good and held my attention thru its entirety. What really caught my attention though was this song that played during the ending credits. It's classic 70's style rock...a mix a hard rock, glam rock and psychedelic, ala Jefferson Airplane, Humble Pie, early Who, etc....which is so fitting for when this movie had taken place. The guitar tone is great, especially for the solos. I'd like to know what guitar and amp combination was used to record it. My guess would be a Les Paul or maybe an SG thru a vintage Marshall Plexi amp. Oh... and the short epilogue song reminds me of Neil Young. Great stuff!
Can't stop listening to this song.
This hits differently with over ear headphones 😮😮those riffs just blasting Away In waves 🤯
I love this movie and its actually crazy
You have to make real single out of this! This is fucking great!
Hah just watched Black Phone, was not expecting this epic song by two greats! I've been lucky enough to see both Little Barrie and Brian Jonestown live in Liverpool 😎 ❤️
I never heard of these guys until seeing this movie today , I'm totally into this song. It reminds me of the Animals!
This song really tied the movie together.
I just watched this movie and I'm totally liking this song , it reminds me of the Animals crossed with the Doors. I'm going to have to check these guys out 👍✌️
Flew back from my Dad's funeral last month and Black Phone was on the inflight menu. Cheered me right up when this came on, the only time I've playing any closing credits 10 times in a row. You're a living legend, Anton!
I'd a bet my bottom dollar this was from the '60s. Damn good writing and a heck of a guitarist.
It is not, it was written for the movie
Blasting this on the boat, gone for fishing at midnight, no moon , bad weather & a big spliff. Thankyou indeed for the upload anton!
Lemme join I'll. Ring some hashish lol
Discovered you 20 something years ago and since then whatever I been going through its like you've been going through it with me... You've always got a song to paint a picture... I consider you part of my family Anton that's how important you are here
Shazam didn't get it, glad i ve found it
What a great song !
Gd I said GOD DAMN!!! That tone is epic... a fucking masterpiece
NGL this Gotta be the greatest Song ever produced and written for an Ending of a horror Film
Could be one of Fav Songs i ever had 🔥🔥🔥
This song and movie Rocks!!! Thanks Anton and Barrie for your contribution!
I would buy this song in a fuckin heartbeat if it were on iTunes!!!
Killer song! Fan of BJM for a long time. Watched Black Phone tonight, heard this during the credits and had to see who was playing it. Excellent job! Wish we could purchase it…
Dope song
Need this on Spotify badly, love this song
Amazing song Anton and Little Barrie, great drumming by Uri also. Just seen you play Norwich and two dudes I got chatting to like me in their late 50’s hadn’t really heard much of your stuff. By about 4 songs in they were blown away and that’s what you do , make music that comes from our church . It just hits you man…
An absolute tune! So great to have two of the finest in the same space. ❤️
And I love the reprise, total Neil Young feel, but not in a tribute type of way, like it's actually a song he never got around to recording! That's the highest praise I have.
It's not music.
It's therapy.
😄
this is awesome! thanks anton and little barrie!
Way to go Anton. BJM in the comment section. They have been one of the hardest bands in history to be a fan of yet, here Anton is still going. Crazy. Saw BJM back in the day, several times in Mikwaukee. Some of the best live shows I've ever seen
it was love @ first listen, need this on all platforms
Good music and good movie.
Fr fr
After the movie I was trying to find this song. Glad it finally turned up!! Awesome track
Wonderful cranked on the headphones! Damn, Uri kills it again, the man is gold!

Your masterpiece here definitely captures the era of the film...
Major skills you gentleman have...
Keep it uP...Peace
I can’t believe you guys collaborated. Barry has been my favorite guitar player for years now and I have been loving BJM for years too. I never thought this would happen. Never say never I guess!
Love this tune 🖤
Very cool shit!! Barrie ROCKS and so sad you n Lanegan never got to work together - my fave singer ❤️

So many sounds to digest!!!
Sounds awesome, Anton!!!!
Thank you!!!
It makes my day, when you post, new music!!!!
Take cate!!!!
Damn, needed that on a Sunday night after a shit filled week at work. Thank you Anton.
This track is killer... please release it!
The offer from the director was to write a song for a movie, I didn’t call it brian jonestown massacre and it was work for hire for a person I consider to be a friend. I was paid fairly, and I’m fine with it living in this world, attached forever to the end credits of a bad ass movie. Think all the Fucking songs that people forget to stream that just fade away. Somebody somewhere will always be bored, and decide to check out the black phone, and perhaps go what the fuck is this music, and then search for more of our work.
@@antonfjordson I found your band from a Heather Graham movie. I stopped the movie just to find out who you were. I get what you're saying Anton
We need more music like this. Makes you want to kick doors down and hold people accountable, wearing a big grin on your face.
I love it! You're great! But my favorite part it's the acoustic part in the end, I wish it was longer!
I was thinking that was a second song... and searching for it!
THIS SONG ON SPOTIFY NOW!!!!!
I can't find it on there.
Why isn't this on spotify?
Insurmountable wave of energy and sound. Holy Hell…
May God Give You the wisdom and strength to continue this beautiful work of art for us..

Thanks Anton, great to see you back after the virus.Live shows soon I believe.
Thats a killer guitar groove!🎸🎸🎸
What a great combo, love Little Barrie too.
Digging this sound! I know this elevated the movie.
The movie was over by the time this song was able to elevate.
Simply amazing.
I LOVE THIS
This music is just as emotional as smashing your thumb with a hammer or a fresh cut . It is very much " in the now" . The beauty of a painful situation , that's as real as it can get
Anton...another radical song man ! I really really fucking dig it...the outro is so spot on...
It works with my gut feeling of how it would be to be fin in the black phone. at first you are yelling Fuck yeah! Who’s bad? Because you just killed the grabber… then like someone walking away from a car crash into an adrenaline crash you are like “oh shit, I almost died.” Gravity
Love these songs! 🌸💜🌱
I've been listening to this non-stop, this is right up my alley dudee
I’d buy this in a second. Great song and sound.
Kick ass song, Anton. Thank you!
Just bought my tickets for Bristol 29th January !!! Cannot wait !!! Stoked beyond belief 👍

Pretty damn cool.
Hi Anton, great spooky music for October. Thanks so much for your creativity & influence on a couple weirdos in Michigan.
As the film drew to a close and i was about to leave the cinema I thought...wait...this sounds a bit Antonesque...
