My favorite offering from Dodge as everyone knows.....just not mine. My neighbor just picked up this awesome '69 from the original owner! Listen to all the "survivor" details!
As a young teen, I’ve taken my drivers license road test on my Dads 1969 Dodge Charger! Passed first time! Truly an American classic! Metallic green black vinyl top!
My grandma had a 68/69 roadrunner my grandpa bought her off the showroom floor. One owner. It sat in the barn for almost 30 years. Only 40k miles on it. After she passed away she left it to her brother. He fixed it up all original. Except he painted it. Stuck with the original color a midnight blue. The only part he was missing that was original was the breather. A few years pass and I found the breather in my shed this summer. He was tickled to death to have it lol
That car's incredible. It's funny you mentioned them being rattle traps, because that was always something that drove me nuts about the Mopars. They always sounded like they were made out of beer cans and didn't have any weather striping, but I still love some of the cars that they made... There were three really cool Mopars in our neighborhood when I was growing up. I remember them from when I was about 15 years old (1976). One was an orange R /T Challenger. 440 4 speed. It had the white stripe on th eback and Cragar S/S wheels... Another was a green AAR Cuda. It too had Cragars on it. The third car was a panther pink T/A Challenger. All three of these cars were like new. About a half mile from our house was a black Boss 429 Mustang. The guy ordered it new, and it mostly stayed in the garage. There were so many cool cars around back in the day. I bought my first car when I was 15 (1976). It was a 69 SS 396 Chevelle. 4 speed with 4.10 posi.
Cool, I bought my Charger when I was 17, a senior at EDHS, my first car, EF8 green. Every time I sit in it I go back in time to 1979 when I graduated from EDHS and when the Dukes of Hazzard came out. We even use to climb through the windows to get in the car. Still have it.
Absolutely beautiful! ...BOTH of them! I own one in the same color green - I believe the color may actually be F5 medium metallic green (a shade lighter than F8, as to what Mr. Goldberg alluded). I was trying to read the build sheet, but it's tough to make out. There is an F8 listed (along with two F5's), but I believe that may be the interior color... Anyway, the 1969 Dodge Charger is my favorite, too, and it's also the first car I purchased in 1988 and still own to this day. Great video - Thank you, gentlemen!
Hey Goldberg, you wouldn’t be interested in a 66 Plymouth Belvedere would you? my uncle going to sell his, he’s owned the car from day one yes that’s right. He’s the original owner has all the parts and documents on the car about 10 years ago. He restored the car repainting it‘s original British racing green. In fact he had Tommy the Greek re-paint the car I believe in the early 70s. The car was bought in Oakland, California. In fact, my uncle and father’s neighbors were the Melrose missile and that was the dealer that my uncle bought the car from …Originally the car came with a 383 police package for speed when he restored it he took a 6.1 L modern hemi and punched it out to a real 426, with I believe it’s a T56 now….if you’re interested, I can send you pictures. We’re looking for someone to take care of this thing thanks ,Tim
I actually saw a black with red stripes 68 by where I work the other day, let me tell you it was huge!, definitely something you don't see every day!, I'm a 'Cuda guy myself
My brother Robert (Wanda’s cousin) has one of these 1969 Chargers. It was one of his 3 Charger wedding cars, 25 years ago. It also is up in Saskatchewan Canada. 🇨🇦@lincolnelectric

Those hub caps are gold.

You got to love the 69 of all the chargers. There's just something about them that make them the dream car.

Very cool Cars, Not only one but two of the best chargers Made in one Episode thanks for Sharing Goldberg !!
Love the green on green, the thin white walls, the hubcaps. 2.gen Chargers really fit the "downplayed/ Sleeper" look
1:03 ahh the old squeaky door, reminds me of Dads old Dodge
Whitewalls, Wheelcovers, and Vinyl Top?? YUMM!

Man, my boy Bill has gotten smaller, but looks very healthy though; I guess thats all that matters.
What a rare find..such a beautiful car and so very original.. I prefer the 68's instead mainly because of the round turbine rear lights..
