I loved how he just laid there when she was doing the paw print art and wiping his paws ❤️❤️ His temperament is very much like Our English mastiff, Gunther, who is also very laid back and so calm . He is almost 3 now but even as a pup he was the sweetest thing ever! True gentle giant my Gunther 😊❤️❤️

Copper is GORGEOUS!!! Rescues are the best dogs, because I swear they know you’ve rescued them. My precious Vinny was a shepherd/chow rescue that lived 17 years and was such a blessing to my family. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Seeing your new addition to the family brought tears to my eyes We had a lovely Golden, "Libby Lou," for 11 wonderful years. I still miss her every day, and it's been 10 years since she passed. I wish getting a pawprint had occurred to me while she was with us! Instead, I did a shadow box with her engraved collar, a favorite photo of her, and a copy of the letter I wrote to her, and buried with her ashes. We fostered about a dozen Golden Retrievers after Libby, because I wasn't ready to give all of my heart again--just yet. At the same time, my house was too empty without a dog. What a fabulous experience, to get to love so many (needy) dogs! Blessings to all of you, including Copper!
Fostering an animal in need is one of the greatest things you can do for an animal. I'm sure Libby Lou is looking down with the deepest approval and love for what you're doing. 💜

I love Copper so much! I started crying when you did the paw print... my 16 year old kitty had to be put down on 5/7 and they took a print of her paw... I'm going to add her name and dates to it and hang it up
My four footed boy of 13 years, we rescued him at 3 yrs old, got very sick a few years ago and we put him down because he was suffering so badly. We got the clay cast of his paw print. I will do the same with the canvas. Thank you for your inspiration as always!
Sorry for your loss 🐾💔, I had to put my beloved Lhasa Apso Buddy down after 14yrs (he was sick & I was getting ready to have brain surgery procedure) having the paw print which the clinic sent with a beautiful note, his name & dates 2006~2020 has been a great comfort. I added sand to the bottom of my solar “lanterns” it adds a little more warmth and it hides that end part 👍🏻🙌🏻
