I never considered Tea Saplings, you would need to craft about 300 of them to make enough to complete the Joja Mart.
I wonder if that would be quicker,
I finished the Joja Mart in 4 Hours using the method from this video

You can make ~200k by the end of spring with tea saplings if you continuously craft spring seeds and replant them until you max out your daily energy to water them, then start making saplings with excess seeds after that point to sell for profit. Just need to focus on grinding trees for wood and fiber in the mines.

I've played SV for over 1500 hrs off and on between other games. I wanted to be the good girl so I always went the CC way. But, I grew bored. I'd done every combination and I found out randomly from Robin that she would have fixed up the CC if only Lewis would have given her the go ahead, so then I got mad and went the Joja route and thoroughly enjoyed it. It's even better if you play Stardew Valley Expanded. Pierre is as bad as Lewis. I sold him some cave carrots and people came up and told me how brave he was to venture into the mines to get them. I hate Lewis and Pierre so I will never do the CC again. The Junimos don't need my help to get back to the forest. They seem capable enough and I never use them as slave labor anyway. Joja for the win!

fishing by the river on rainy days helps a lot since you can catch catfish!

Correct way: sleep until winter and "clay" farm everyday. You will get like 14000 gold a day

If you just want the achievement and don't care using exploits to get it, create a new save file and use item codes as your character's name. You will get the items every time someone uses your name. I used the codes for legend fish, treasure chest, and prismatic shard. I chose the river farm for the smoker, though it is not necessary. Talk to Caroline for your first to get your first batch of items. On your third date, go to Robin and buy a telephone. After 12:00PM, call Gus and get items every time you call him until you have enough for all your upgrades. After your 5th day, go to town after 8:00AM for the community center cutscene. As of 1.6, you don't need the junimo language to get the Joja membership. Buy the Joja membership and start upgrading. I will have to sleep it off every time you choose an upgrade so there is a lot of walking. Might wanna buy some coffee from Gus. After doing all the upgrades, you have to re-enter the town and the cutscene that gives you the achievement will show up.

When you buy bus, you can't buy any starfruit. Doesn't work, I was grinding this 2 am . This isn't cool.
