I don't go to the beach any more because I'm on dialysis, but the last time I did go I saw Felipe Toledo waxing up at Riviera. I didn't know who he was then, but I could tell he was a ripper. Brazil is tops now.
Jordy's I believe 2nd wave(?) was pretty bad ass as well. But that's how good Toledo was this heat because he still beat Smith convincingly.

OMG... definition of epic. Both the wave and the surfing.
Finally he's no longer like this acrobatic air novelty act in the CT. This is hopefully where we finally realize he's amazing all around and has power and tube skills. His speed puts fanning to shame, and makes Jordy look like he's surfing with 8 fins dragging down his board.
For Felipe's size to generate spray like that. Come on, Jesus why haven't we been talking about this guy up there with Jordy and JJF? Imagine a rivalry with casual JJF and aggressive, fast hard hitting Felipe in the future.

Ya know, it's bullshit how Jordy doesn't get higher scores than people like Toledo, de Sousa, Medina, etc when he gets barrelled. Hes so much bigger than those guys so it's much harder for him to get in and out of a barrel than all those other guys who aren't as tall.

Smith surfed very well. Nonetheless, he was brushed by Toledo. Think about it!
1 fellas six-foot-three the other fellas like 5 foot 5 I'm not really sure.Martin Potter is around five foot five again I'm not really sure so he prefers the surfing of the smaller guy and he thinks the wave was bigger on the split screen but if you actually did the math the waves are at least the same size. the six-foot-three fellow.

WSL panels are so incoherent. There was no wave surfed better than these 2 waves from Toledo. They gave nines to way inferior rides. Both Toledo’s waves here clearly were 10s!
