- System Shock 2 (PC, 1999) intro (first two cutscenes). Audio by Eric Brosius.
Audio is not from the cutscene avi files. I used tracks from a soundtrack release posted by MysteryDev in TTLG forums.
If you ask me, the narrator voice that starts around 1:04 sounds very much like Robert Picardo (The Doctor from Star Trek: Voyager). It's either him for real, or someone who tries really hard to sound like him. - Hry

SS2 and Fallout 1 are my favorite games. Primitive graphics but full of soul.
Yeah, but I hear that when the System Shock 1 remake is finished, they’re going to use the game engine to remake System Shock 2. Then the graphics won’t look primitive anymore cuz they’ll look true to life! 😅

That wasn't it. Even hitting the intro button wouldn't play anything. But I put it in compatibility mode for windows 2000 and that fixed it. It might be because I have windows professional.
my copy of the game doesnt show me the intro
Imagine being SHODAN, being freed from ethical constraints, going full megalomaniac on the disgusting fleshy creatures, being overthrown and cast away, fragmented on a pod, waking up in the middle of nowhere in a spaceship, cut off from it's systems, having to play coy puppet master with a few fleshbags just to go back to earth just to end up getting shot in the face with a 10mm pistol.
All I'm saying is, there should be a "Yeah!" ending
