Mechanic ka mashwara kabhi ghalat bhi ho sakta hai. isliye apni gari ke baray mein thori maloomat hona buri baat nahi. Khas ker engine oil ka sahi intekhab behad zaroori hai.
Dont pick car engine oil because your mechanic told you so. Look for yourself what's better for it, because end of the day its you who will face the consequences if something goes wrong with your car engine because of the wrong lubricant.

Try 0w-20 as recommended in summer in Pakistan and you would learn if the temperature has any affect on the oil grade.

Toyota has recommended 10,000 miles intervals of changing oil in US and other parts of the world. It pre maturely destroyed many engines. Don't follow the car manufacturer's recommendations blindly. We need to do some research before following recommendations
