Issue: Would not start at times and engine would randomly shut down while driving
Other Potential Fixes: Fuel pump relay, camshaft position sensor, spark plugs
Diagnostics:
1. Turn key to 'ON' position but do not start.
2. Listen for fuel pump running.
- If fuel pump cannot be heard, check fuel pump relay. Relay is located behind driver side left footwell plastic cover. Obtain relay part number (25230-79917)
- If after replacing relay, fuel pump still can not be heard it is a safe bet that fuel pump is no longer working.
Applies to: 1998 - 2006 Nissan Sentra (B15 5th Generation)
Trim levels: GXE, SE-R, SE-R Spec V, XE
Engine: 1.8L, 2.5L

I own a b15 sentra where the gas tank just started leaking fuel. Mechanic told me it’s the fuel pump but seized into the tank. I’m going to try to soak it in wd40 to hopefully loosen the bolts and remove the tank. When they showed me the tank it had 3 connectors like this one your working on

no Pressure Regulator strange.2005 sentra has the PR inside pump.

The fuel pressure regulator is part of the fuel pump assembly. There is no fuel filter in these cars besides the strainer located below the fuel pump.

Yes, it still should have a fuel pump within the case. Although, your disassembly will vary.

Can you tell me where fuel pump relay is for 06 sentra ?
It's located behind the driver side kick panel. It's the plastic trim close to the driver left foot, hope that's helps
@@eight-motion2870 soo been looking it for a long time now . Is it behind the fuse board where all the fuses are ? I think it's blue colored and there are a few that look exactly the same . Supposed to be right next to defogger relay but can't find that one either

@@DavidHernandez-ue4fz it was like the others said - behind the left side kick panel. When sitting in driver's seat , it's panel by your left knee.
