I had to give a lecture this week about ethics in future society to a group of young people between 18-30 from across Europe and Asia who are representatives of youth groups. Virtually all the questions and comments were along the same lines - how do we have more discussion and dialogues, how do we cut across polarised lines, how can we make sure our viewpoints are not too narrow ... examples of people talking and learning from those with radically different points of view - I was so pleased and overwhelmed I was nearly crying although I don't think they noticed! I have some hope for the younger generation..
He is a hope for the future. He's experience everything and speaks so clearly about the different loose categories of 'trans'. The young people who mistake disaffection for being trans, the trans people who just want to live their own lives as the other sex, the noisy few who want to control other people and the sporty chancers who want low effort, cheating wins against women. Please support him! Get him a substack!
Graham never stop being wholesome and sounding like your parents
@@rebekah7635 is it wholesome to ignore your wife and son until they leave you? also is it wholesome to harass rape victims that don't agree with you?
@@soupsalamamder You’re deranged.
Sasha is a lovely, bright, considered and compassionate man. An important voice in an influential industry. I wish him all the best in life.
Well done everyone. I love the observation from Sacha about ‘shame, respect and appropriate places for various attire’. Thank you. 🇬🇧❤
Arty's comments about aesthetics & tribes are fascinating & spot on. What a great guest. Years in & you guys keep getting better. Great to have thoughts provoked 😊
I can't share Helen's optimisim. My local Lib Dem TRAs are now in SHBC council. They are trying to stop me exposing their support for PBs and transing kids. Alasdair Pinkerton the new Surrey Heath MP is a believer.
Having you three back here regularly is wonderful. ❤
23:04 had a very similar expereince! A trans identifying colleague was whinging (normal) about education and trans. I mentioned that I'd lived close to the school in Birmingham where there were protests a few years ago. He went on a 10 minute rant about Christianity. I didn't stop him - as an athiest, I largely agreed with what he was saying. Once he'd finished, I pointed out it was muslims, not christians. He stopped speaking completely and went to the toilet. Why the double standard?
🤣😂🤣 Which toilet did he use?
@@anonymousa-uy1hk the ladies, of course! Women at the office try not to go whilst at work.
Of course not, yuck.
Kara Dansky - YES! I want to hear more about what's going on in the US!!
You are all brilliant. I would LOVE to see Arty in conversation with Helen Joyce. Two sparkling intellects.
In 1999 when I ws in Sydney I went a few times to a Japanese restaurant and the waiter was a trans woman. And flirty. None of that mattered. He was just one of those "trannies" as we learnt about as kids in the sixties. Yet now, laws are changed that mean the rest of society have to change their speech, their thinking, their business practices and values. Despite the ostensible British confidence that it is being wound back, from where I see it in regional, but not remote, Australia, it is now a slowly incubating madness.
Publishing is an actual cesspit of anti-GC bigotry.
Japanese woman has spoken at Let Women Speak events. check Speakers’ Corner - 26th May 2024.
I think Arty is not quite right about Labour's high command "appeasing their base". Rather they have been placating their activist members. It's very different.
Yes. That's a fair call. On reflection, I think you're entirely right. They're not the same.
@@ArtyMorty Thanks for replying. I thought you would understand. You're my main man.
Sascha is right: it’s silly and we should laugh.
I wish you'd all invest in some decent mics. The sound quality is often poor which is a shame as I love the show.
Love Arty's comparison of Trans ideology to Bell Bottoms ...
Lovely to hear from Sasha. Such a considered view on things.
😩I missed it live, again! 😁Hi 💜🍁🦖🤠💚
Most Aussies don`t go for it. Most don`t even know it`s happening
Yes, publishing is a captured industry indeed
Great show thanks all
Think about the "trans" character that was cast on Doctor Who.. did any of you notice that they made sure they weren't the standard "prototype".. meaning not overweight, no multi color hair, septum piercing, cat eye spectacles. Apparently they wanted someone who was model thin and traditionally attractive... the producers weren't brave enough to cast the "typical" looking one yet, now were they?
Tgey should get a trans identified male to search the tim s.. they could not justify refusing that surely.
Japan didn't quite bring in self-id... It used to be that surgery was required to have your sex changed on your official documents, but now you no longer need to have the surgery to change your sex. But I don't think they can just say "I'm a woman" if they are caught in a women's changing room and be considered a woman (like in Canada - where I live), I think you still have to go through the paperwork process at least. As I think self-id is just being able to simply say it and it's true?
‘None of these people believe transwomen are women’
I think a lot of them just don’t think about it for very long or very hard. People mostly just do and say as others do and don’t really put much analysis into it.
Not saying I am 100% immune to group think, no one is, but I think things will only shift once gender criticism is seen as ‘normal’ and the arguments can be ‘meme’d’ simply.
I never thought I’d see the day when I voted for the Conservatives.
bigotry is often a gateway to fascism, the n4zi's were also transphobic
@@soupsalamamder Have you had some sort of horrendous head injury, or are you always this dopey?
@@ThePontiacBandit911 it's undeniable fact that the n4zi's targeted transgender people 🤷🏻 didn't use the exact term but the research of sexology was raided and most research was burned. ask yourself why you're so comfortable upholding Hitler's view of gender and sexual minorities, why are you so comfortable aligning yourself with fascists?
@@ThePontiacBandit911 look up the Institut für Sexualwissenschaft
always love these videos❤
Very intelligent and eloquent young man x
Yes, gender critical people can be proud of the intelligent rational people of all ages on their side, while the opposition, the tra extremists just have a belief that is almost impossible tob defend rationally. It's like Richard Dawkins arguing with a simpleton.
4 out of 5 titles!? That's blatantly egregious 😡
Hey chat!
Graham, thanks for what you are doing. Can you please fix your microphone, your voice is disappearing into the room. Sascha makes some really good points, especially around the 'funny' aspect, a very articulate speaker, I was fascinated about his insights into the situation in Japan. Thank goodness he didn't go through with changing gender! I believe he could have a big and positive influence on other young people who are confused about what to do, especially when they see how psychologically 'together' he is.
Lovely show
CZcams made this episode very difficult to find. I went to Graham's page, entered "latest" in the search field for videos and it wasn't there. I only found by a link I was sent.
You have to open the "Live" tab, not the "Video" tab. 👍
Weatherstones, lol x
Japan has quite old fashion sex stereotypes
By “old fashioned” you mean “in touch with reality”
@@ohwellwhateverr I mean there can be measuring of hair length at school different for boys and girls
Women compelled to wear makeup and high heels for work
thanks for this
Lovely!! ❤❤❤
2:57 I wish i had Helen’s faith in Stephen Kinnock to behave professionally.
We all know how vicious and dangerous other parents of ‘trans kids’ are.
Helen Joyce was right.
As usual.
💜🤍💚
Excellent episode.
Is that a double bass ? or a cello and helan is really tiny ?

Helen’s been very quiet… was she ok?
