- Jimbo Fisher era is over for the Aggies. Let's talk about what happened and what type of coach Texas A&M should be looking for. We're not sold that they should go after Lane Kiffin.

I miss y'all's late night Saturday streams after the games. Honesty that was the best instant reaction show to listen to in my opinion
I have been wondering what’s going on. I keep looking for it every Saturday
@@terellwhite3361 I mean I'm sure they have jobs and lives outside of YT which is understandable and probably why we've seen less videos. But that stream was their best content honestly
I agree. I don’t think they have to do it Saturday night. A Sunday recap would be great too.
@@umooner4505 true
There's two reasons why we've dropped them. The first is obvious - it's a huge time commitment. Not only does it mean we have to effectively work from 10PM to midnight, it also means we have to be up to speed on every game all day on Saturday. It nearly totally burned us out trying to do that. From a balance perspective, we need to be able to space things out and catch up as needed on Sunday. The second issue, in total honesty, is that they weren't actually that popular. The people that watched like you guys seemed to absolutely love them. But it was only a few thousand people ever. It gets hard to justify the pain point when we do 4x the traffic on a Monday recap video, given the lift was almost as much as everything we do on Sunday combined. We may do another at a good time (e.g., maybe on conf champ night) but it needs to be the right time.
Elko seems like like the perfect candidate from really any angle. He has experience getting the most out of Duke, he has connections to university already, and he doesn't have too much keeping him from going like Dan Lanning. They could even announce the move in time to salvage the recruiting class and keep as much of the band together as possible. If they don't go with him I would be genuinely shocked.
I'd be shocked. Not splashy enough for the big egos
BINGO!! Elko IS the guy they need. While I'm NOT AT ALL a fan of slick, wormy Ross Bjork, I'd be SHOCKED if he didn't already have Elko in his pocket when he made the move to get rid of Jimbo...WHO HE DID THE STUPID EXPENSIVE DEAL WITH to start this mess. He'd need a "rock solid plan" when he went to off Jimbo with the board. Still can't believe that they didn't shit can him as well, but it is what it is... Elko is the guy. If they hire Kiffen, I'll stop following them even though both of my boys are Aggies.
@andrewmueller9986 you must not know how much the Aggie fan base loved Elko and was pretty pissed wnen he left. They should bent given him the HC in waiting clause and let jimbo work himself out the door. But with Elko running the defense I'm not so sure they go 6-4 this year. Durkin couldn't tie Elkos shoes when it comes to defensive schemes and adjustments.
as a UTSA student and a long time A&M fan, I'm both excited and scared about this. I want A&M to get the best guy possible, but I'm terrified that that might be Traylor
...a good quote I heard in discussions about the Aggie thing.
"What needs to be done eventually needs to be done immediately"
Your point about Saban being willing to change is so spot on. As an Ohio State fan, the SEC in general is the enemy, and Alabama with its unprecedented success was enemy #1. I was constantly trying to avoid giving Saban all the credit he was due, but when he pulled the trigger and replaced Hurts with Tua in the national championship game, he showed me what was obvious to many - he's willing to do (and able to identify) what it takes to improve his team, regardless of what has transpired up to that point. From then on I freely acknowledged Saban is the GOAT. I think Bama is now the team to beat this season, and if he wins again, he's going to retire. There's nothing else to prove or achieve. I've gone from hating him (mainly out of jealousy) to having nothing but respect for the man. I'd buy him a beer any day.
Alabama had unprecedented success? You must be pretty disconnected from football
The problem was not Hurts... it was Saban.. who tried to use Hurts as the fall guy. Hurts went to OU in the transfer portal and expoded there... Showing it was the poor coaching at Alabama that held him back. Look at the stats .. it's all right there.
You are correct. Regardless of what people say or think, Hurts was an average passer and not great (at that time). I watched a documentary where Saban talks about that decision. He stated that he knew there would be a time needed a pure passer and that they routinely got Tua snaps throughout the season so that he would have that option. The opportunity arose and Saban put Tua in and the rest is history. Some people like to make it out that Tua was given the job, and Hurts left and immediately became a star. They forget that Hurts played back up to Tua the entire next season and developed his passing game while doing so. He filled in for Tua and won Alabama the game. It was clear that Tua had improved as a passer before he ever transferred. Having said that, he did continue to improve after he left and appears to be improving to this very day.
@@stickswithme Name another coach/team in the modern era (BCS/CFP) that comes close, please.
And it's honestly the best aspect of coaching that Kirby took from Saban (along with the relentless recruiting). Kirby made it to the brink of a National Championship playing the brand of football he wanted (control with offense, suffocate on defense) and it would have been very easy to say "We got so close so that way clearly CAN work." But then he went up against Joe Burrow's LSU and decided that the way he did offense was not going to get it done, so he made a concerted effort to change. The sport is constantly changing and evolving, and anyone who thinks "their" way is always going to work is going to get left behind.
Until kiffin gets 5 stars we can’t really say how much he is capable of
We know that Kiffin isn't capable of recruiting 5* players.
@@triple3miller how do we know that?
@@colepriceguitar1153 By looking at his recruiting classes.
Who else is in the wrong business. I need to be fired and paid $70 mil.
My next job I'm going in with the Jimbo approach. Get a great job somehow, absolutely stink at it, then have that company pay me more to never work again than they ever paid me to work. Ill let yall know how that goes.
I don't think Kiffin will go to ATM but I don't think it's fair to say he has peaked. Sark did worse than him at USC even though Kiffin had extreme sanctions, and Sark couldn't get past 8 wins at Washington. Sark now has a machine at Texas with the right resources. Assuming Kiffin finishes with 10 wins this year he will have two 10 win seasons in 4 years while Ole Miss had 3 10 win seasons from 1962-2020. Also outside of Bama/UGA no one has more wins since 2020 than Kiffin in the SEC
Always in favor of more Nerd content! As a complete outsider to A&M the whole affair is totally perplexing. Except, as in all things, you have to grab the opportunities when they occur. Sometimes, they don’t come around again!
As an A&M fan, I agree with your assessment regarding Fisher’s adaptability. This year’s offense looked more like Fisher’s from recent years than Patrino’s (at least what I remember from his Arky days).
People forget that Kevin Sumlin was getting top five recruiting classes while at A&M. They’ve never had a talent problem they just need an elite coach to put it all together.
Other programs also have talent. Did I miss how many championships the aggies have won in football?
Can you guys do the same analysis on USC. That would be great. You have a blue blood program with a high profile coach that’s struggling
After Lincoln Riley goes to the NFL, then we can talk about USC coaching search
Speaking as an Aggie, I can’t stand the narrative that since A&M has never had consistent success means they won’t ever have success. Pate always talks about how we have all the ingredients necessary, but haven’t been able to put it all together. I personally don’t think A&M is gonna try to make a splash hire otherwise it could turn into another jimbo situation.
Top choice would be Elko and try to get really good position coaches/recruiters. The players all spoke highly of Elko and I think he’d be able to turn it around
It’s a lot more difficult. If Clemson did it, A&M can, but it takes more than hiring a guy who had a fluke national championship with the right QB somewhere else. You’re not hiring coach O now. You shouldn’t have hired Jimbo then. Also would not have hired Gene Chizik or Larry Coker.
@@theknightswhosay I don’t know how you can say Jimbo was objectively a bad coach in 2018? Also nobody is talking about hiring coach O or Coker
@@spacejesus_4979 He was a bad hire. He had the right QB at the right time and then was going downhill just like Chizik and O did when they lost said QB. Maybe not as quickly, but it was happening. He wasn’t going to transform the program to the extent of Saban or Dabo.
I know no one wants to hire the other guys at a major program. That’s the point.
It's the same argument people used against Georgia for decades, which was right until it REALLY wasn't.
@@CollegeFootballNerds They have to make a good hire like Georgia did though.
Ouch - tough love and sadly true. Onward and upward. Gig’em Nerds!
No way they really put “enjoying the grind” for Meyer with that photo 😭😭
We did. We won't apologize :)
Bobby Petrino has significant winning Head Coach experience
Olin from TexAgs had an interview with 360 Sports right after the firing. He made a GREAT, and appropriate comment about Jimbo hiring Patrino to run the offense; "if you hire Bobby Flay to cook you dinner, but then give him the recipe and the ingredients, and tell him not to change ANYTHING, well, you're just kinda get the dinner that you've always gotten"....
Kalen Deboer is the guy to me. He's won immediately everywhere he has coached. 67-3 at sioux falls. Took Indiana as the OC to second in the big 10 in offense. Is 16-2 at Washington and 100-11 as a head coach. But to me if you listen to him speak and listen to his players talk about their mindset... it's so eerily close to Kirby and Georgia. He's taken a poor talent wise team (their blue chip ratio isn't great) and their defense is terrible, but he maximizes what they do elite. If he ever got a hold of the talent at a top 5 program it would be scary.
Love your take on cfb in general but watch every game matchup you put out cannot wait for Bama vs Georgia
Enjoying the grind 💀💀💀
Glad someone saw it!
Thank you for saying that about Bill O’Brien. Signed Texan fan. Not great . Gigg’em
My list would be similar to y'alls, Mike Elko, Chris Klieman, but I'd also give some consideration to Kalen DeBoer. I think he's done kind of a Lance Leipold-esque work with Washington, which is a higher-level program than Kansas. But I'd still put Elko and Klieman ahead of DeBoer on my list personally.
Urban always on that grind, focusing on family!
While I agree with much of this, I think there is a lot of reason to go get the best OC/DC available as well. Guys like Grubb or Schumann because it maximizes the spend meaning you get them cheaper but have a motivating carrot of much more money if you win. To get Klieman or Elko you will have to spend to the point they might hit the easy street button. If I'm going the HC route, I'd also look at John Smith at OSU.
Schumann wouldn’t leave for another DC role IMO, it’s lateral and wouldn’t gain him anything. Maybe for head coach though.
@@ShootinStarskies A&M would hire Schumann or Grubb to be HC.
I would love to see them hire Kiffen just for the entertainment value he would bring😂.
I know I'll get push back but I think Mike Locksley from Maryland could be really good given better resources.
How about Glenn Schumann? I have heard his name thrown around a bit for the job
He's been part of a lot of good programs. But does A&M want someone learning to HC on the job?
Such a great point about Jimbo's lack of humility and stubborn refusal to change his offense. My lasting memory of Jimbo is the look of frustration on his face when QB'S failed to execute his scheme. That same lack of humility and jealousy drove him to make nasty accusations towards Coach Saban who literally put him on the map of his coaching career. It is so tragic when someone lacks the capability to be self critical. In the world of sports like life adaptation & evolution are the keys to survival. That is why Dabo Sweeney could never follow Nick Saban as Coach of Alabama or even follow him--they are intellectually so dissimilar--Saban has the capacity and intellectual curiosity to evolve and change the chess pieces of his scheme.
I think it's hilarious and ironic that Jimbo's biggest win of his career actually came against Texas A&M....Jimbo walks into the sunset with ALL of A&M's money !!!
Kiffin is 57-28 in the modern Kiffin era. Not bad for a clown.
Just over 66% isn’t national championship level though.
A Saban win percentage or a Smart percentage requires more money than was paid to Jimbo. 66% win percentage is more than likely the market for the next coach at A&M unless they have another 100 million to blow. That 66% was done on a shoe string compared to what is available at A&M. Just my thought. @@theknightswhosay
Love what y'all do. Gave a thumbs up. Commented on the video. Not watching this one.
After Colorado first half the season and Michigan's bs basically the whole season, I'm tired of CW drama. I just want football back.
Excellent fellaa
As a fan, it really felt like TAMU did what they were supposed to do in order to launch themselves into contender status by hiring Jimbo. Super disappointed that it turned into a dud. Hopefully whoever comes in can do something special with that #1 recruiting class, if the majority of them stay.
I have a possible controversial thought/suggestion. How about going full Tennesse? Hire a new AD. My choice would be Liberty AD Ian McCaw.
The deal A&M gave Fisher was insane at the time but then they double down on it and extended him.
Jimbo just never adapted to the modern world of sign-stealing and in-person scouting?!? 🤣
Good stuff
Kiffin at A&M would scare the rest of the SEC .... u can't hire someone who's always ran a big program or has that experience.... thats what Jimbo was too... Saban came out of Toledo.... those hiring only have to be a good judge of talent similar to recruiting players... they can come from anywhere
If Kefin had aggie talent he would have won more than any other coach that's been there. He has beat you'll the past 3 years
PLEASE do a hypothetical on Mizzou and Penn State!!!!!
Washington is a -1 underdog at Oregon State. Y'all covering the game?
They usually find a way to not cover PAC-12 games but they might have no choice this week.
@@MH-0101 exactly my thoughts.
@@autoscopy think you’re out of luck bro. They would’ve dropped it today. Think they are just gonna do UGA vs Tenn.
I can't believe people are still trying to put Urban Meyer in any head coaching position after his showing with Jacksonville.
He is not only washed up, but seems to have a possible medical issue going on. Mark Richt seems more coherent than Meyer.
Let the man rest and give the tough jobs to people who can handle it now, not in the past.
And to add, I love Mark Richt, and wish him the best, but he has been honest with his issues, and is still the same guy he was, just impacted by a medical issue.
Meyer seems to be lost in every situation he has been over the last 5 to 10 years.
He didn’t lose his ability to coach because his attempt to operate in the NFL was a disaster. Not sure how much recruits would factor that in though.
Why do guys like this love to bring Brian Kelly's name up when talking about Jimbo's failures. BK did more in his first year at LSU and in the SEC than Jimbo ever did at A&M. Has it been perfect. No. But to act like the LSU program is in the same position as A&M right now is crazy. That's just showing everyone that you have a negative opinion towards Kelly as a coach that is not based on reality.
A&M beat LSU last year.
It is Surprising they didn't wait till after end of the Season to take off another year off the Buy Out.
the timing didn't affect the buyout at all. He is owed the full contract regardless of timing of his termination.
Glenn Schumann
Mike Elko
Dan Lanning
My top 3 candidates
No to Elko.........UNPROVEN !
Important to remember the SEC West will not exist going forward, I believe this makes TAMU more attractive
Best teams ranking. These are the 9 best teams in the country (I don't care about #10 or worse) and rankings of the teams will now only change due to injury:
1. Michigan - Elite offensive line, elite RBs, elite QB, decent WR. Elite defense. This team has 7 nfl players on the offensive line and 8 on the defensive line. Maybe the deepest team on either line of scrimmage that I have ever seen. I am having to rethink Michigan. As I feared, the Penn State game exposed them as cheaters. Based on what I saw, I would say that the sign stealing gave them a 7-10 point advantage in every game. In the Penn State game, they were no longer effective at picking up pressure and defensively they no longer knew how to fit the appropriate run gaps.
2. Texas - They get back Ewers and lose Brooks. This team cannot catch a break. There is also the absurdly false narrative that Alabama has improved and is now better than Texas. Better at what exactly? QB - Texas, RB - push, OL - Texas by a mile, WR/TE - Texas by a mile, DL - Texas by a mile, LB/Secondary - ok, cool the one advantage Alabama has. Somehow you think that first game was a fluke. Somehow you think Alabama is now better than Texas. You make this mistake every year. You are wrong. Remember when you thought Oregon had improved last year? What a joke.
3. FSU - if this team win out with no injuries, they will play for and maybe even win the national championship
4. Georgia - Close to elite defense. Efficient offense. Offense can be shutdown. Offense has limited explosiveness and a good not great run game. Defense cannot generate pressure needed to effect high level offenses. Brock Bowers is back which means I can no longer guarantee a loss to Alabama
5. Ohio State - Maybe the best defense in the country. Offensive line looks like its coming together. McCord is a liability to this team. Not naming Devin Brown the starter has cost this team a national championship.
6. Washington - Elite offense. Best receivers and passing game in the country. Outside of two elite defensive ends, one good linebacker and one good corner, this defense has serious issues and will hold them back from winning a national championship. For everyone thinking that Oregon will win the rematch, pray to God that Jalen McMillan and those other WR are not healthy because Washington will win by 10+ if they have their full WR corps healthy. Sure enough, Washington's receivers remain injured.
7. Alabama - Elite defense. Effective offense but issues at QB. The Nerds were right and I was wrong. This defense is on a Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State level. Slightly better than Duke and Notre Dame's defenses.
8. Penn State - Maybe the best defense in the country. Elite QB, good WR, best RBs in the country. Solid Offensive line. Terrible coaches.
9. Notre Dame - Solid team. NFL players at all levels. Great offensive line and run game. Sam Hartman rarely makes mistakes.
10. Oregon or Whatever.

Aggie here. Been waiting for this ever since the news came out.
I'm not opposed to the fire, especially after this seasons blunders. We're up against Bama and Tennessee at half and lose cuz we get out coached. The Ole Miss loss that came down to a last second FG really cemented it. I'm still glad we had Jimbo and I'm not even upset about his contract.
He went 9-4 in year 1 including a 7 OT win over LSU, a team A&M had never beaten in the SEC. In year 2 we went 8-5 but that was also against the hardest schedule in FBS history (played 3 #1 ranked teams). And then in year 3 we lost to the eventual national champions on the road then out, finishing 4th in the nation. Who wouldn't extend him, especially if LSU is trying to steal him away?
However, ever since signing that extension, A&M has been nothing but mediocre.
Hearing Glenn Schumann rumors too 👀
Why not Kyle Whittingham? I think he annually gets more out of his program and then perhaps any coach in America
Saban brought in Lane when no one else would touch him.
I know Dan Lanning is getting put out there a lot but I just don’t really see it I think Oregon would match whatever A&M would be willing to offer and his contract buyout alone is another 20 million on top of whatever his salary is, I would be looking at Klienmen
Idk. Oregon is pretty wealthy though, they even got those sweet nike contracts with their unis. It probably doesn't match A&Ms as you said, but it doesn't need to exactly. It only needs to be high enough where added in with the extra risk of going to A&M wouldn't be worth it for that extra little bit. Especially since I'm not sure A&M is willing to go out with the same buyout as they did with Jimbo again.
What if Elko came in, but kept Patrino as OC?
I don’t know much about Jedd Fisch and if he has enough experience or the right kind of experience, but that Arizona team is Well coached. Mid talent, mid experience, and yet they play at a high level ever game. Why is he not high on the list?
Post watching comment:
All good takes, dont disagree with anything. Josh pointed out in Jimbo's 1 good season (2020), we only played 2 ranked teams, one of them being a 52-24 blowout in Tuscaloosa. My context for that is, Ohio State, the national championship runner up, lost to Bama, 52-24 as well, on a neutral field. The reality is no one was gonna beat 2020 Bama. And then our win over Florida is a good win, longhorns love to say they were "a 4 loss Florida" but thats becasuse they were a fumble against us and a thrown shoe away from finishing the regular season 10-0. All that is beside the point though.
In pretty much every Aggie sphere im in, all see Dan Lanning as the dream hire, but most dont think we can lure him away from Oregon. Sadly, their Nike money is a worthy competitor to our oil money. Other names people would want: Deboar, Elko, Trailor, Norvell, Schumann (UGA DC)
Names every Aggie i know doesnt want: Lane Kiffin, Urban Meyer, Deion
Kinda feel A&M has already made a deal with someone. Lincoln Riley?
I knew that contract would come back to bite them
People say OU admins are fools, for never hiring head football coaches with experience. Stories like this are why. Nobody is hiring away Nick Saban or Kirby Smart. No amount of money, will make that happen. And when you TRY to get a guy like that, it's going to cost you a fortune, and you are going to have to accept a not quite the same as Saban hire. How much it's not quite the same, will vary. But this mentality is a recipe for over paying when you hire them, and over paying when you fire them.
Maybe Kiffin is so aggressive because he is always playing against better players...
I hope Kiffin gets Bama after Saban.
Can't judge Kiffin too harshly until he gets an even playing field.
I think lane can win a natty a a&m
At least 11-1. With 5-stars like A&M, Lane could make a run with that.
At this poing Id actually accept an ahole like Kiffin
Kiffin is wildly overrated. He won't win a natty anywhere ever
Yes, leave the conference. Even leave the NCAA if we can and refuse to accept any punishment. College football needs us and not the other way around. We can and will remain defiante and defy the rules. We are Michigan. We make the Rules. We are not going to deny cheating. No appologies.
Coach Harbaugh is guy I want my son to play for when he goes to College. I want my son to go to the NFL and I know for a fact that Michigan will have an advantage for at least one or two more years based on their research, and the knowledge of other teams. Michigan can make players look better and that's what counts for the scouts.
There is no other Man (Michigan Man or otherwise) that can teach the lessons Coach Harbaugh teaches and the values he exhibits. Only Michigan is going to do anything to Win. Winners get seen by the NFL scouts. Loser's don't and remain losers. Everyone says study and work hard to get ahead in life. In real life any advantage can advance you and make you look better, even if you tell half-truths you are not lying, it is just the Grey Area.
I worry about going forward is if other parent's will want their kids to go to Michigan, but then again if we get kids that fit the Harbaugh system we can crush everyone. Harbaugh isn't gonna recuite any choir boys. Now that Michigan is in the spotlight, even kids who would normally miss out on the NFL will get the nod simply because of Harbaugh.
Thank you Coach Harbaugh. All Michigan Men can be proud of your fine example. Hail to the Victors.
Wait, you compare Elmo with Pittman and you still are interested in hiring him, you do realize that Pittman is finished at Arkansas😳
No that was a specific anecdote about being able to recruit, at least short term, as a coach with no recruiting juice. Arkansas failures are largely because of losing coordinators, replacing them with bad ones, and having some internal strife.

For everyone who begged for the 12 team CFP. You need to understand that if we had that format this year, every team from UGA to Oregon St would already be locked in. No drama, no controversy, no nailbiting high-stakes game. The regular season is about to be devalued. Thanks a lot
We actually have an entire episode on that coming later this week.
Agreed, but the rankings will change. The current rankings basically are reflective of the committee looking to avoid conflict. They are trying to dodge bullets and not rank objectively. Great stuff guys.
I feel like even this massively undersells the degree to which TAMU has been a clinic in coaching malpractice. TAMU has top 5 talent and are NOT a better team than they have been getting credit for. When a team consistently plays below their talent level that IS who they are. TAMU is not even the team that beats teams 'worse' than them; they have LOST to teams "worse" than them all throughout Jimbo Fisher's tenure. Each season has one of these games where they get absolutely obliterated by a team that shouldn't even be in their tier. The only metric by which they are a better team than their resume is in recruiting ranking.
Even now, defenders of this team give a bunch of credit to a defense that looked good on paper by fancystats, but the performance totals don't actually bear that out when they play upper50% teams. Miami's win against them? Tied for Bethune for season high of points allowed. Ole Miss ony has that point total behind LSU, who doesn't play defense, and Georgia Tech. Their defensive performances on the scoreboard look like a mid-tier SEC team, and much, much worse against the better FBS offenses.
Nobody else comes close to accomplishing so little with so much.
As names continue to fall off the list, is there even a remote possibility that they'd look to Deion? He would definitely be able to bring in top recruiting classes. As a Texas fan, he scares me.
We just had a guy that brought in top recruiting classes.
Hey buddy thought you said bama couldn't beat lsu and jalen milroe wouldn't be able to hang
Umm, Josh picked the game 41-34 Bama, which was probably about the exact final score if Daniels doesn't go down with an injury. So not sure what you're pulling from there.
not at all surprising. Expected it. Fisher was never a championship coach. Florida State was built by someone else and the coaching staff he had made it happen. He's always been a crap coach. Had nothing to do with him waiting too long blah blah, He's just being who he really is, a crap coach.
So I guess y’all gonna skip over this past weeks games? The model was wayyy off on the Georgia-Ole miss game
The model isn't perfect. But it predicted a tight game vs Auburn, a one score game vs Mizzou, and almost picked the exact score vs Florida. It's out performed any other model available as it relates to UGA this year.
@@CollegeFootballNerds Agreed! This model has been AMAZING with scores all across the board.
The Ole Miss game honestly reminded me of last year's Tennessee vs LSU game. Ole Miss was out an OT and then lost a 2nd OT in the second series. From that point on their OL just collapsed and it was effectively no contest. Ole Miss went 5 drives in a row going either 3-and-out or an INT in the middle of the game. I'm not saying they would have won (we both picked Georgia), but you have to acknowledge that it was a game that simply went off the rails for Ole Miss and they couldn't recover to make it a game.
I sense a very dark future for this program this was not good decision, imo.
Keep your paws off of Dan Lanning, he's ours when the time comes
I will laugh if they hire Mullen
Mark Stoops
Mel Tucker to Mississippi State
First
The Aggies are the most overrated football program in the history of college football.
Why not James Franklin. He was successful at vandy has done great at Penn State but being in Texas and getting those recruits may put him over the top
I think many PSU fans would take exception with "done great at Penn State."
@@CollegeFootballNerds they’d be stupid then, he’s made Penn State relevant which they weren’t for a minute.
@@childofthanos84Bro, let me introduce you to college football history 101. Chapter 1: 50 years of Joe Paterno.
What if Elko came in, but kept Patrino as OC?
What if Petrino isn't a good OC anymore?
@@CollegeFootballNerds What if he is? And if we hire a defensive minded HC, we gotta make sure we havea good OC. A few months ago, he was our choice!
