'Meet the Crowns.' Miss Georgia Scholarship Competition takes center stage at RiverCenter

The Miss Georgia Scholarship Competition will celebrate its 79th anniversary this year when it kicks off at RiverCenter for the performing Arts in Columbus, Georgia.
Fifty six women are scheduled to compete for the title of Miss Georgia 2024, and 40 young women will compete for the title of Miss Georgia's Teen 2024 at the event from June 12-15. More than $75,000 in scholarships will be awarded.
The delegates were presented to the public during the "Meet the Crowns" event Friday afternoon at the Columbus, Georgia Convention & Trade Center.
