That Obst Ruane hand will always be one of the wildest hands ever, especially with how deep they both were, what a spot
How is this so low on the list?! Top 5 all time imo
I mean, it's a pretty standard fold. Ruane literally never has worse for value so Obst has a bluff catcher. Not all boats are created equal. Ruane is always just calling, maybe folding even after a board pairing river lead with a non straight flush. Obst has the worst possible boat and almost certainly the worst non-bluff he ever gets here with as played.
@@Jermo484Pretty standard. Right. Um, would you please come down to the Tampa Bay Hard Rock poker room and put your name down on any list? We would love to play with you.
That was a great lay down and he called the straight flush but also could of had a higher boat
@@user-qq9wb6pb9v he folded like the 8th nuts lol. It really isn't that impressive.
66 should be much higher. Unbelievable fold
It is a great fold I dont think I could lay it down but at the end of the day he can realy only beat a bluff as there are about seven different hands ( JJ QQ J10 Q10 10 7 and straight flushes) that could be better so hes at the absolute bottom of his calling range.
@@betterthanmost9549 Go back to 4th grade English FFS.
It's not that crazy to fold the under-boat when Ruane raised the flop into multiple players on the flop. He's facing a 40bb jam over his raise (blinds are 100k/200k, raised 12.5~m from 4.3~). You wanna look at relative hand strength not the absolute since it's deep in the main and the flop dynamics.
It’s Ivey, I get it. But shoving with a flush draw then just hitting is a top 100 hand?
When there’s that much money on the line….
@@obsoletecd-rom I’m aware. If he took down the event I would feel differently but it was really a standard hand that led to a pay jump. There were several hands in the lower tiers that were better than this IMO
Agreed . Shouldn’t even be in top 100 . It really is because of it being simply, Ivey .
I’m with the others demanding the Van Tran hand to be in top 100! 😂
Ridiculous over celebration by Doug - shameful.
Looking for this comment, how embarrassing...
@@DaveM-jf7ge Responding to this reply - how ironic…
Not a big deal
I think one victory lap probably was fine. He did at least three 😂
No class by Dougie.
66 should be in top10
Without a doubt. Extraordinary fold.
2:01 Far out Vanessa Selbst goes overboard in her celebrations
Then there's the other side, which we see far too often. She's a great player, but can't take a licking and keep on ticking.
Chris Brewer class act!
The « Nice hand » at the end, just kills me 😂
66 should be In the top 10???!!- arguably one of the best wsop folds of all time! Who ranked these hands?
The oft cited line “act like you’ve been here before” for Polk would be quite apt
Guys, 66 is one of the best hands I have ever seen, full stop. What a read from Obst! How many people would have laid that full house down? Should be way higher imo, but looking forward to see all of them.
14:09 this might not be the hardest fold in history, but the fact that Obst called the exact holding is nuts.
4:20 that dealer is the best at concealing the window card I have ever seen!
Where do I buy the Rigby fitness video?
#66 should be higher
Why is #65 even in it? Just normal random hand?!
Crazy thing about #62 is the 10 on the flop was the case 10.
Hand #69 of quad Kings reminds me the US Poker Championship of 2004 where Corkins Bluffed against D'Agostino beating him with quad 7s was unbelivable and unfortunally D'Agostino was tilt losing a lot of chips and in the next hand beated along with Schultz against Hollander
Schwartz has to prematurely call clock because he knows he will give off tells if his opponent tanks for more than two minutes???
That first reaction was ridiculous. Silly!
THERE ARE NO bad beats, only bad dealers.................💸💸💸
OBST fold is one of the graetest of all time !
#66 reminds me Harmann vs Zeidmann Full house vs Stright Flush but with a wise fold
I still have no idea if the guy with K10 was bluffing or value betting
since both ends of the straight get there, it feels more like a bluff tbh
The word is VERSUS, not verse. Nguyen's hat was legendary; bad take by Chad.
That last hand is downright mysterious to me.
It's based off the 'bluff' getting quickly called. The player wonders if he gets jammed on any bet on the river, so checks and faces a huge over bet. Both players repped a queen, Van Hoof just wanted it more. Explained?
66 is the type of thing that should be in the top 10. Unbelievable instincts.
Number 66 is the best hand of alltime 66 is criminal
Merson is NEVER going bald... Not even after that beat.
Godly laydown by obst. Unbelievable
Dougie getting the Barry Queenstein on the river!🥰
Obst very nice
Wow Obst is a pro
The 10s vs ak 2nd hand is the 2022 main, not 2023. Maybe get the particulars right idk?
Pokergo stinks
"nice hand" Chris Brewer such a pro man never seen somebody take so many bad beats in huge equity spots before
Last hand was genuinely interesting. Commentators absolutely clueless of course
I think that first hand in this vid sums up Polk hah
I’ve never seen a quad flop with all three cards needed flopped
Brewer runs worse than any pro I've ever seen it's crazy
that's why he had to quit for awhile and just step away, now he's back, somehow even better, and running better too lol
He won that tournament with polk i believe
he won 2 bracelets last year after this bad beat
I don't like Schwartz, but that clock call could have helped him. Sooooo
Then 3 players commenting on it while it's in progress. Like guys, his clock is running, stop distracting him.
Clock call was suspect I hate jacks but would of called because of the quick clock call I think
Not a fan of the clock being called after a short amount of time, but being out of the hand and whining about it--especially Steinberg who was annoying the whole tourney--doesn't do any favors for the person who received the clock
#68 is just bad poker that deep I-ah
Balsiger would’ve flopped a straight lol
Merson ran so hot too
2:27 so classless from Doug.
Larabe...just awful. Bluff til you get there and then fold. Strong play there.
65 is such a random hand to have here ... and so high?
Chance snapping AK suited was bizarre. Yes, Rigby liked to play 2/3 but he never jammed 3.6 milly chips with it preflop
la 1 debe ser la de escalera real vs poker de ases,,, y la de poker 66 vs poker 44 en el top 5
Hope that Schwartz gunt went bankrupt immediately after
When Daniel Negreanu and Max Steinberg are questioning his actions, there's something to it.
I ever play with Schwartz and have a chance to stick it to him, I'll do it with pleasure.
I really don't like doug polk.
Schwartz is by far the most unpopular poker player ever. Ugh. Can't stand him
@@groovedohg its just dougs face, everything about him. Can't figure out why. Poor Dougl is hated and I can't even tell him why.
Justin Schwartz is vile.
68 isn't even a top 500 wsop hand lol pokergo is in bed with rigby for whatever reason. Entertaining player for sure, but really?
Stu Ungar better be in the top 10
Ok that Polk reaction might be the most cringeworthy I've ever seen 🤢🤮
Brewer looks like Jim from The Office
I can’t stand Schwartz lol
And 67. So terrible
@17:19, If this insecure body language doesn't epitomize every boomer or older that plays poker, I don't know what does. So pathetic
First view & first ever ‘first comment’. This is the great moment of my life. Hopefully I didn’t write too long of a message and not be the first comment
You’re not the first comment
@@Antony.Martinez Cant believe I was the first! Greatest day of my life. Thanks for confirming Antony :)
@@magicmike_notastripper ratio’d
Polk is so immature.Acting like a fool.
Why did the last guy fold
Under pressure by the big stack deep in a big tournament and any queen would have him beat...

WSOP Top 100 Hands of All Time | 70-61 | Doug Polk, Phil Ivey, Nicholas Rigby & Hevad Khan
All In, suck outs are NOT 'Top' Hands! Only 3 in this mix; Obst, Schwartz and Hoff at the end.
This is not luck, you manifest your own cards , but other peoples mojo can interact with yours
From poker go view, a hand is a top hand if it's a 80-20 bad beat etc. most hands has no real interest
If it on TV is scripted. Just as fake as pro sports. Lol
I love when people make the WRONG call but then show how stupid they are to celebrate
