Edyta, your video on 8 pointed stars some years ago was key to my success. It took me six months to fully develop my skills and methods. I think the muscle memory for the piecing is what we need grace and time to develop. If you piece it; it will develop.
This is my favorite block. I found pressing key, and Teflon coated sheets the perfect way to press to ensure no stretch an no shine. Thanks for your continued education.

I am trying to stitch along and need the acrylic template for the 2" square to mark the points? I don't think I purchased the templates for this quilt Common Bride, but have been using my Accuquilt to cut the diamonds and so far the strips too. Thank you for these patterns and videos on how to put it together will really help.

You can do it! Take it one step at a time.
Do you have a video that shows sewing on the machine between the two points on inset pieces? Do you start sewing directly into mark point and after a couple stitches back stitch?
She starts after the point to start and backs up to the point then come to the pivot then backstitch 2 stitches
