I order the aio when you made your first video and I got to say I love it and the dji unit it's just solid only thing I blow up now is motors in bad crashes but all electronics are 100% good after 1.5 years
Im about to build my 6th drone after a few years of a break. Now im about to build the baddest LoS Drone with an AIO. I guess this fc/esc might be my best choice. Still rocking the old Fatshark HDO V1 for fpv & Tanaris X9D. I might buy a new frame if i can find a good option, or reuse my old stuff from 2018-ish. Thanks for a great video!
Great review, Mr D. Got me a diatone aio alpha, earlier. This thing kinda trending arld., & good move by FETtec/Alpha too, not too relying current manufacturer. Love seeing your vibes in all your vids, hope to see a tutorial pidtool-ling in this FETtec/Alpha hemisphere . 😅
I imagine it's like the balance plug on a lipo. I have chopped off a few not securing them during flight and you can use a needle or something like that to press down and pull the unused wire out.
I'm just an amateur with 1y FPV experience. However, I am of the opinion that such AIOs only make sense with a 5" design like the Twig ET5 where every gram counts. And the frame only offers Diamand Mount 26x26, not parallel like the AIO in this video. You can also use it for diamand mount, but then the motor cables are not perfectly positioned. Since I'm a perfectionist, I couldn't stand it...
Such a AIO in this form factor is not the right way. These mosfets are way too small. Dont think that this board will live that long in a real freestyle quad.
