The first east Asians to come the Philippines a 1,000 years ago were the chinese, 800 years later the Koreans came. The Japanese from Nagasaki came to the Philippines 700 to 600 years ago. The Japanese came to the Philippines 200 years before the Spaniards. Spain colonized the Philippines for 300 years. Later on the Americans colonized the country for a century.

What I don’t agree in one of their video’s that the Micronesian islands, the Marianas Islands & Guam was part of the Philippine islands way back before Spain came in.I don’t think so yes Spain had influence on Guam before becoming a US Territory. The natives are Chamorro & our language is so much not near theirs & have some Spanish words are in their language as in the Filipino’s also. Filipino’s have a heavy ancient tone bc of their language barrier, you can point them out clearly that they are Filipino . Chamorro’s do have an ancient but not having F=V ancient in English or have a “rrrrr” sound. We call our locals that speak broken English “Chads” but it’s not as bad as in the 60’s down on. English is the main language over the Chamorro language which is sad since we became a US Territory (1945) over the years we where told to speak English 1st & Chamorro 2nd bc the military was the largest employer back then. Now it’s up to the locals to chose both on how to raise up their family in speaking language, since it’s a free country.

I'm Filipino American, due to my grandfathers joining the Navy during WW2. My sister recently did a DNA test, which included East Asian, Central Asian and 1/4 Polynesian. So even though there were rumors, we don't have any Spanish ancestry. According to my grandfather though, we're part Chinese and originally had a Chinese surname. I think quite a few Filipino's are mixed like I am, but just consider themselves Filipino.

the cebuano are more close relatively to japanese, when asking the word *ka * in ending question is more in seboano is, ka* sample when asking something by a japanese sentence, "nani ka"?? in seboano "kinsa ka* thats why seboano in close relatively to japanese maybe the from sebo people prefecture first come to cebu,, cebu is much more same figure of island... that is my only belief the pure cebuano is more likely japanese in figure and height and very talented in workmanship, i am a mix bread cebuano pilipino and specialist in farm tools maker and blade making,, i was visited japan in 1990,, in tottori prefecture invited by Yashima nougo kougyo in kurayhosi city, in train of production of farm implement, by Hiroaki Yashima,, thru my friend Kenji Kubota
