Honestly the reason dodge went with a 2 piece to begin with is a single piece driveshaft just turns into a long noise amplifying tube. The smallest noise get massively amplified. There's a few videos out there where the engineers stated that if they had gone with a one piece they would have had the service centers full of drive train noise complaints. They need to readjust you exhaust at least. They need to loosen the bolts from the headers to the mid pipes then the bolts from the exhaust to the mid-pipes and move it over and tighten everything down.
The place he took his car at doesn’t do exhausts lol

No hate at all but that’s the reason I wouldn’t install a DSS part on my Hellcat. They have constant issues with vibration and noise. I’d sell it and get a better one. Just my 2 cents

Them cv joint on the drive shaft are junk af new or not get rid of that shaft it's gonna keep having problems. Hit up Carolina driveline they can make u a shaft and might know of a yoke conversion

The heat shield for the center support bearing is not longer needed with the one piece aluminum driveshaft and you should not reinstall it. Aluminum will cut aluminum and if it ever touches the shaft it will cut it. Same thing with the rear heat shield make sure it is clear all around and cannot touch the driveshaft.

The inner portion of the drive shaft appears to be the same thickness as the stock.....that aluminum case around the shaft makes it look beefed up....the main difference it's no longer a 2 piece shaft....I have heard that going to the one piece changes the angle and could cause other issues.....just the word on the street

The rear end has an adjustment in it that the 2 gears ⚙️ run on an it need adjusted to the new drive shalf

I use DSS but they do have quality control issues. A friend of mine had to send his new axles back last week because it had a bad Joint and was loud as hell. They sent me the wrong axles for my Hellcat originally but took care of it. I’ve had no problem with my Hellcat driveshaft.
I read they have qc issues too. On the ctsv pages folks have had all kinds of issues

Play in one of the cv joints in the driveshaft, which can cause it to snap at some point

Dss is a horrible company I had they’re aluminum one piece cv fail at 130mph and it smoked my output shaft, had to buy a whole new trans. I had put less than 1k miles on it. I’d make them return it.
