    Jason, North Cack-a-lacky in the house🙌While I got a different brand for my wife about a year ago to replace her jumper cables this one has more options. I’ve been meaning to get one for myself & now might be the time. Keep up the good work on your videos & look forward to your merch✌️

      Yeah I like this brand but as long as you have one and it’s good then that’s all that matters. And yeah NC in the house. Where are y’all located in NC? I’ve lived all over that state pretty much.

    I bought a Gooloo 2000 a few weeks ago and it has already half paid for itself. Only $90 and worth every penny!

    • @OXFOOT
      @OXFOOT  Před 2 lety +1

      For as cheap as these units are they really do make me feel a lot more secure. I’ll take a $90-$120 loss if I never have to go through that situation I went through a few months ago again.

    I have a similar unit and have used it to help a neighbor who needed to get to work, and a random dude in a parking lot who was trying to leave after stealth camping. I think my current unit may need to be gifted so I have "an excuse" to pick up one of these.

    • @OXFOOT
      @OXFOOT  Před 2 lety +1

      Lol. I mean if you have one that works you can weigh out the options because I’m sure yours now is fine if it’s been able to do what you’ve needed so far. I really do like this one though and it’s been a month since I shot this so I’ve owned this for like 3 months now and it’s not needed to be recharged other than using it for filming.

    Very nice review. I bought one last month as I had to jumpstart my vehicle a month ago. This one has more features. Wish I could have waited. Always look forward to your reviews 👍

      I probably had this review ready to go back then too sadly. I just tried to push it off so that not all of my videos are reviews. Try to space reviews with my typical content to even it out.

    Very nice video. How long does it usually take to charge the battery of the 4R? Did you wait for a few minutes and then started the vehicle or was there an indication on the battery pack of the voltage on the other side? Just curious. Thank you again for the video and info.

      I don’t know the exact number because I’ve always waited around. I think maybe 5 minutes it took the last time but they should have more correct stats on their site, maybe it’s quicker than that.

    I have a similar thing from Noco and it's saved my butt a few times. Looks like a cool product! Also, we should trade patches and/or stickers, :D.

    If you want to count on this unit for emergencies, I think you will need to have it plugged in all the time to your car to make 100% sure it is charged and ready for when you need it since the charge only lasts 3-6 mos. So this begs the question, is it ok to leave it plugged in all the time?

    • @OXFOOT
      @OXFOOT  Před 2 lety

      Yeah I just take it out and charge it every other month. It’s usually at about 85% though. I don’t know the exact amount I need to keep it in order to get a jump out of it so I try to keep it above 80% or so. I think the 3 months quote is just to save their ass if one gets older and starts losing a charge.

    • @OXFOOT
      @OXFOOT  Před 2 lety

      But I would say that to the best of my knowledge keeping it plugged in could hurt the battery. But that being said I’ve only ever heard that, never tested it out.

    Good for jumping a vehicle that you can’t safely use cables.

    • @OXFOOT
      @OXFOOT  Před 2 lety

      I used to carry cables with me but I do way to much solo stuff. But I also like bringing this when I go with others as well.
