Jessica was the star of the show. I always felt that Donna getting promoted was the main reason for its downfall but even if donna had stayed, without Jessica, this show is nothing

Jessica, Mike and Harvey made the show. When Mike and Jessica left the show suffered.
Sure Louis was memorable and his development in the later seasons is great, but those three made Suits
I agree Donna will never be as smart as classy as well rounded as Jessica and to even think it is ridiculous
I stopped watching the show after Jessica left, but rewatching season 1 multiple times, Suit's season 1 was gems and later season were literally trash.

Kinda a controversial take, but I never really liked Jessica and Malone’s chemistry together. Malone never seemed like the support Jessica needed. I personally think he was deadweight. I wish Jessica could have had a better love interest
Agreed. I felt like she had more chemistry with her ex-husband. When you see her on screen with her ex, you definitely had the thought, she still loves this guy. Even in the way she looked at him.
With Jeff Malone, it always seemed more like a work colleagues with benefits type thing, but it was very dry.
