what dungeons would you recommend for farming mogs?
wow ... grinding for gold ... oh how I miss it ...
I have not played in 10 years but I can't stop watching videos about WOW ...
I hope others are having more luck than I am. I'm going on a couple weeks now of trying to sell the various things from sunwell. At this point i've lost a good chunk of money on deposits and haven't sold anything.
Appreciate the video. The only way to make a ton of gold without using DF professions, which is really the best way to do it, is by your #1 method. Run every instance and raid in the game and sell all transmog over 1k in value. List it ever 2 days and play the game normally. Repeat every 6 months and you will have a pretty steady income per week/month. The rest of the ways you are actually GRINDING for gold or items which is really not great, not fun, gets fatiguing, and you can't actually play the current content either.
The second best way is Islands. The drops there sell for a HUGE amount of gold. I've sold at least 5 pieces for over 100k each from Expeditions. And you can work your way to get the mounts as well.
I agree! Great insight, I personally use transmog as my #1 way of making gold each week. I haven’t done island expeditions in months, but honestly that’s a great way of getting some expensive transmogs! I haven’t really looked too much into DF crafting professions, but I’m sure there’s tons of great methods there too!
@@extracify3229 yes, I've made about 4m gold in 1 year just from crafting tailoring and enchanting public and private orders. It's not like making a million a month or anything but it's way way way more than I would ever need.
list it every 2 days for 6 months wtf how long does tmog take to sell wow AH is so slow
Great video mate, can i ask what type of dungeons you recommend doing for mogs?
Note on the Wrath shirt patterns: I'm 99.99% sure they only drop if the toon hasn't learned them yet. They drop quite often, too - roughly once per lockout in my experience. Helps make up for the fact that I'm about 250 runs dry on the hilt...
Great video!
This video is really good. I have a question, how do you decide which transmog to farm in nº1?
Cool Video👍
Just as a Tipp, try farming siege of orgrimmar with a plate character. The shoulders from garrosh look amazing😁
Also, are the flying carpets not only usable for tailors with the matching skill level? Or was this changed?
i think it would be helpful to mention, in nyalotha, there is a shield that you can get for about 110k on the auction house. happy hunting! (only in the spawn room, dont kill anyone but wrathion, then clear the whole room of adds)
-also, you can only be plate or someone that can use a shield.
Great video. From a player coming back from hiatus, you seem to be skipping looting or looting really fast. How does this work? Do you not need to loot anymore? The Mana Tombs clip especially. Thanks again!
Ah okay, great point! I’ll slow down the fast forward in the future. Basically, group looting is a thing. This means looting one mob with Auto Loot feature checked, you loot all mobs in like a 20 yard area around! So you do have to loot, but not nearly as often!
Ah ok, got it. I am aware of group/auto loot but it was so fast I wasn’t sure. I definitely want to try a few of these farms. Thanks again.
@@bensullivanthink its an addon called Speedy AutoLoot
Another great farm is WQ and Racings every 3+- days. You can make 10-14k gold for 40+- min work + sometimes in dreamsurge zone there is double gold buff and if you are lucky you can get some BoE with speed that sells around 5-10k gold in ah.
Fair point! That's a solid raw gold farm tip!
Ya I do it on 13 characters. All the gold WQ too. I was making around 70 to 80k twice a week
Great farms! For me the number 1 is Shadow Dust and Time-Lost Scrolls. Such a consistent 18k+ per hour. Also drops some great mogs!
I need to give that one a try, I've heard solid results from it!
Where are the time lost scrolls?
@@chillie8892 it’s a good gold farm in terokkar forest killing the bird mobs! I was thinking of actually making a video highlighting that farm in the near future!
@@chillie8892 In Terrokar Forest you have to talk to one of the sha'tari skyguard NPC's that gives you a quest for a potion that makes u see normally hidden mobs. Those mobs drop the Scrolls! They are all around the normal mobs there.
18k is about $1.5 in US token prices. Less in EU tokens and half in RMT.
And that is what you spend an hour of your gaming time on.
If you enjoy that as your gaming content, more power to you! But these aren't great ways of making gold.
Yes, maybe getting lucky with a transmog drop but that isn't guaranteed and you need to find a buyer.
what UI are you using? Recent return to game. I miss having that bar at that top
Welcome back! I’m using just the default UI, and the bar on top is called Titan Panel, just an addon! :D
How do you know which transmog sells good and which doesn’t, any addons that help with that? Feel like some of the mogs that show a huge price on auctionator are never being sold..
The main way to tell with that is by having TradeSkillMaster addon installed, and checking the "sell rate." I'll be having a TSM guide video coming out soon!
@@extracify3229 that would be cool! I’ve installed tsm and don’t know what to do with it. Also would like to know if you can change the interface of a buy menu. The icons are so small, I don’t see what I’m buying until I read all the texts
Why would someone buy adamantite which is not DF ore? Sorry didnt play much of DF but as far as i remember, there is no need to take professions outside of the ones in the area that you are in, which is DF areas?
Nothing will ever compare to legion Mission farming . I have not paid a dime to wow since legion all expansions & monthly cost & shop items all have come from legion gold missions & I still have enough for a few more expansions
Wow! That's awesome, do you still do it today?
What’s the farm exactly or where can I find it
@@Tetrathegod I believe he’s talking about the mission table during Legion expansion! Basically you send your followers on missions, and they come back with rewards including gold! It was super OP back then!
@@Tetrathegod Well back in legion you had class hall mission tables that provided gold mission that rewards 2500 gold per mission all you needed was order resources which came from most everything and were easy to get , you could do 2 sometimes 3 missions a day per character & back then you could do them with the mobile app so you didn't even have to log in , luckly I was they type of player that loved leveling characters rather than raiding so I had 20 max level character each character would send out 2 missions a day for 5000 gold so 5000x20 character = 100,000 gold a day and it took about 1 hour of game time , regrettably all gold mission were removed just before the end of legion & so the goldmine was closed , But not before I banked maybe 30 million .
@@extracify3229 gold mission in legion died with Legion :( they removed all of them
I've sold 4 battered hilts this past month.....haven't sold any of the shirt patterns yet. Have a couple of each from farming the hilts.
Nice! Yeah, the shirt patterns sell slower, but are, at least in my experience, worth a bit more than even battered hilts! I think of them as transmog selling, where they will sell slower but for a higher price! Plus, they aren't hard to farm up and are a bonus loot to the battered hilts
@@extracify3229 definitely worth taking a tailor to farm the hilts:)
When's the last time you tried a class trial? I couldn't send things via mail, and I don't think I could sell on the AH.
It's been awhile and wasn't aware of this. Thanks for the info. Good to know going forward for my content!
as a new player, how do i figure out what actually sells in any volume? I farmed a little bit of transmog for myself and noticed that one of the things I got had been listed on the AH for like 25k gold and I have no idea if that actually sells. I also got a rare toy with a similar high price and that didn't sell when i put it on the AH
it can just take a long time the reason people have a high amount of mogs and pets on AH is because it will sell just not quickly if you only have a few do not take my word as gospel though since i have not dipped my toes in the game since 2018
Are there specific dungeons or raids you farm for transmog?
Yes, I pretty much farm most vanilla dungeons, but I actually made a video about my 5 favorite transmog dungeons to farm, but essentially it’s BFD, ZF, Uldaman, RFK, RFD, and scarlet monestary!
I've been sitting on 10 sunwell patterns forever they never sell. Was farming it for Thoridal and no one buys the patterns.
Depends on what realm you’re on, and prices. Sometimes they’re just overpriced and you may need to drastically undercut to get it sold! Nevertheless, it may not be good for every server!
I got stupid Thoridal on my Monk.....
What Druid Spec are you using?
I'm using Feral spec, the best for speed in my opinion!
Is the Sunwell blueprint farm really worth it? Are people really that dumb to buy those goggle recipes? I am asking because the goggles from Sunwell recipes have the same appearance as the ones used in the recipe to upgrade. And those that you use are learned from the trainer for 5gold.
In my, and a lot of other people's experience, yes. I wouldn't call them "dumb" but sales for these patterns have definitely shot up since the achievement was added, and along with increase in sale rates, the prices have also drastically climbed!
i went to WG and i can only gather 1/ ore, can u help me why?
This is because you need to get the mining training for northrend. then you will be able to mine more ores! Learn this with each expansion mining so that you can gather multiple ores from all expansions!
where can i learn about what transmogs are worth and where to get them? tyty
Honestly, there are too many to make a note of lol! I have a video I recently uploaded called “Top 5 dungeon transmog farms” where I go into a bunch of transmog sets from 5 of the best transmog farms, I’d recommend watching that to get a good idea of which transmogs are worth a bunch!
dont need revered for mana tomb keys
Important note about the Warlock tome from Isle of Thunder, if your Lock has done the quest, it will no longer drop for you.
Thank you for adding this tip, wasn't aware of this thank you!
Not true, I've looted it a few times since completing during Panda.
the battered hilt is garbage on my medium realm.when it first dropped it was over 100k well over it .but now you can't get 25k for it i've dropped the price 4 times and it isn't happening there is 4 in the AH where i am and they have been there forever people on my realm dont pay what anything is priced at anymore.dont blame them either when the dino AH mount was a thing everyone was selling garbage.ive seen alot of this kind of videos .but for the most part noone buys the old garbage anymore .and for me i run 6 max lvl toons that do everything they do on resets.and people have way more than that i don't have time to go to another land and farm i play hours on hours and running max toons doesn't leave much time to sale old trans mog that someone said it was worth it.if you can make gold that way by all means ,for me right now there is nothing short of wow tokens worth any real gold .and i have max professions stuff just isn't doing it like it use to.
As a CE raider every tier, there isn't any need for anything over like 15-20k a week at most, gold isnt that useful for anything other than making more gold
Fair enough! But you can never have too much of it! ;)
A lot of people buy their game time with gold every month. You can't do that with 20k a week. Also, there's a bunch of gold sinks in the game for collectors. Mounts/pets. Millions of people playing this game differently than you.
what is the most profitable for newcomer?? please help :)
I’d say gathering professions are great for new players looking for some easy gold income!
God loves you
the time stamp is Siege of Oramar... I'm pretty sure thats wrong bud. Battered Hill as well. Just fix it please.
sealed tomes are 2.9k ea on my region oof
So bottom line… none of the current professions are involved in your gold making AFTER the massive redo of them… so why haven’t you said that the profession changes suck and call for a revamp?
I personally am not big on professions to make gold in wow, they’re not enjoyable for me and they aren’t too profitable on my realm. I have kinda stayed away from all dragonflight professions and don’t know very much about it tbh. This list is just 10 good ways of making gold, obviously there are countless ways to make good gold in wow!
Class trials can no longer send mail.
"making millions in dragonflight' yet the entire video is everything but dragonflight..
6 scales in 30min maybe for 900g on my server
Make sure you have Outland skinning! Idk if it’s required but I know it’ll help with rates. There’s about an 8-10% for them to drop
You must be on a server where no one wants to farm. I'm on Lothar and as an example, the knothide leather sells for just over 5 gold each. Yeah, not even worth the time. I checked prices on my auction house as I was watching your video and everything was cheap compared to yours. Maybe I need to buy out the leather here and somehow get it over to yours and sell it for a profit. Only way I'd make any money. Honestly, I don't know how people have millions of gold. Across 30 alts on two servers, I have maybe 250k.
I okay on stormrage US, a full pop realm! Sorry the prices were a bit low on your realm compared to mine. Also as a side note, the knothide leather is a region wide price due to the region wide auction house!
Not sure why your gains are so low. Simply mining and herbing while you're flying to your M+ dungeons can net you a few thousand a day. Hell, even doing 1-2 world quests with the gold reward of 600+ gold on each of your toons once a week will net you ~ 36k a week. @@extracify3229
xmog dont sell for me. And mats are very poor gold
Yeah all these ways are so damn boring, i really miss the raw gold farms......and multiboxing lol
Meanwhile me boosting ppl and making around 7-8mil a week but is more time consuming around ~30 a week
30 hours
That is crazy gold earned though, but yeah what a time investment 😂
Yoo, do you have discord, i world want to be like you, only play wow since 8 months ago, can I ask your experience and knowledge on how and where to start boosting? Thx man
I do not have a discord atm! I can have one in the future and will leave links in the description, but thank you for the kind words! And I've been a gold maker for about 9 years, I don't really boost other players though! I just make gold through farming and professions!@@marmutGANAS
Wow. My level 15 Hunter has like 12 gold. Hope it gets better later on. 😊
lol 3 gold per mob in mana tombs “millions of gold” Yeah in 10000 years just like illidan. Get tokens you broke rats 300k for 21 bucks yesterday
