Northeast Ohio Weather Impact forecast: Another scorcher

Your 6 p.m. Northeast Ohio Weather Impact forecast for June 20, 2024: The dome of heat continues to dominate the entire eastern US with higher temperatures here in Northeast Ohio than Florida and the southeastern U.S. We have Heat Advisories through Saturday with the heat index approaching the 100-degree mark at times.
Only in the low 70s tonight with passing clouds. Near 90 for Friday, cooler near the lake. Humidity will still be high with a chance for a stray shower/storm.
Saturday will likely be even hotter with highs in the mid 90s. It will be yet another miserable day when the humidity is factored in. A stray shower/storm will again be possible.
A cold front finally arrives on Sunday!!!! It will still be hot and humid ahead of the front. A few showers/storms possible as the front moves through the area. Behind this, cooler and more comfortable air settles in for Monday!! Highs near 80 with low humidity will feel amazing!
