With Mbappe not being a big target man like Kane or Osimhen, going back to the 4-2-3-1 formation should suit him well considering his high pace. Also just fits the team better and it’s what ETH would use in real life.

One of Erik Ten Hags best characteristics his style of play that he has created over time. Playing a 3-4-3 is something he would never do and would never be successful in the premier league

I think you should find a new right back and right centre back next transfer window. A lot of the goals you concede come from the right hand side (Dalot, Casemiro). Casemiro is definitely showing a decline and Dalot doesn’t seem to be pressing the attackers as much as he’s supposed to
PCQ: you should go for 4-1-2-3, Mount and bruno as CM and casemiro as CDM, and llorente on bench(to come on as CM). as per now llorente and bruno are doing pretty well in terms of attacking but they can't track back from that position to defence, and that's where the spaces are being created. so need to play casemiro as DM instead of CB, and rest of the team is good to go as it is. BTW nice series. keep it up💎

pcq: Play the 4-3-3 holding. Put your full backs on stay back and overlap and tell Casemiro to stay back and cover centre. Allow your CM's to free roam. Tell your wingers to get in behind, cut inside and get into the box for crosses and allow Mbappe to get in behind and drift wide

Next transfer window, look to signing a proper right winger if things don't work out
Play a 433 formation with casemiro as a CDM mount and fernandes as the CAMs but you can use mbappe as a support striker to rashford and garnacho like the way firminio was to salah and mané

The 4-3-3 attack could win with this team. With Bruno playing the CAM with Mount as the box-to-box midfielder and Casemiro playing CDM

I think in your next transfer window, you should use the leftover Mbappè money, and sell Casemiro or Dalot to sign Joshua Kimmich. He can play CDM and RB, which are both two positions of need because both Casemiro and Dalot get beat consistently.

PCQ: You should play Mbappe on the wing and Rashford as a striker. Mbappe vil be much more deadly there with more space to use his speed and dribble skills to get breakthroughs in attack. Also Rashford is a quite clinical finisher in the box.
