This is a follow up, it starts from a week after the potting until a month. Shows you the progress that the tree made, plus some tips on watering and fertilizing.
This is exactly the information I need. I watched part 1, then this Part 2. and probably all future video. I just bought a 25 years old Acer Palmatum from a specialized Local Nursery on Japanese Maple and I am A little nervous about the proper way to plant it in a pot. I just want to make sure that I can control the growth of this tree. Thank you for producing this informative video. two thumbs up from me.
Thank you, I just bought one just like this. Now I can care for it perfectly.
This is a very good and informative guide for growing small trees in pots. I am a retired groundskeeper and landscaper and my hat is off to this gardener, well done.
That is a beautiful Japanese Maple, good job. Im usually interested in mostly just the Red Maples, but this video makes me want to grow some green varieties now. 2 thumbs up!
Beautiful tree.
Wow, My best friend, Wonderful video dear. I enjoyed watching. Hope to see you soon...
Thank you very much for such good video..
Awesome video. thank you
You have been a big help with me and my bonsai with answering alot of questions through your videos, keep them up! Thanks man!
^^ can't wait to see it as a bonsai =) good luck with it
I hope you got rid of that crossed branch or bent it back.you have to keep on cutting that tree back to keep it small. Nice!
Great video. Thank you for the advise
Hi from Europe, Greece! Great job! I've planted acer palmatum exactly like yours, in my yard (zone 8b). Is it possible for someone to let me know the exact speciment of it? I mean is it just acer palmatum? I've planted two more yellow green species "Orange dream"...What about this green speciment?
Excellent advice, thanks. I have some maples in pots, and they are only just starting to sprout leaves as it’s mid spring in NZ. We live in a very windy area, and although our side gardens are narrow, the wind somehow manages to rush through those sides. Would the maples survive the fierce wind, or do we have to move the pots to a less windy area. Thanks.
What kind soils mix for ur maple tree
Nice pot! What size is it and also material? I just bought 2 young/small red dragon maples and 2 young/small black pines.
hey, can you make that a bonsai please?
the name of that Maple please?
thank you
My Japanese Maple leaves keep drying out and dying. I can’t seem to get good growth in a pot.
Can I ask do you have bring inside for winter?
i cant my nursery doesnt sell maples, i live in las vegas nevada and they dont carry any but i have a few not bonsais that are really healthy i just want one for a bonsai.
What size pot is it in? How many gallon was the tree?
I was told slow release fertilizers kills Japanese Maples right ?
Mine is not growing up... Don't know if it's because was December when I get my plant.
+nanogear Yup. The tree would have been asleep at the time. It should be waking up mow (depending on where you live).
what USDA zone do you live in? I am in 5a and would be concerned about winterizing an acer palmatum in such a large container.
Do you know what type of Japanese Maple this is? Does it have some sort of nickname or anything? Im very interested in growing one just like it.
Any update on the tree???
I believe he passed away😢
@@yaritzarodriguez58 what makes you say that?
