How to understand / combine the "contradictions" of the natural malefics for specific lagna with the 'main planets' of the nakshatras (mainly of the Moon and in ascendant)?
How to "read" the placements of the nakshatras main planets (they're not called rulers, but the word is slipping away from me right now) in unfavorable positions?

I have Moon in Punarvasu Nakshatra opposite to Saturn who is placed in Purva Ashadha Nakshatra. Moon is in the 9th house and Saturn is in the 3rd house. Libra Ascendant.
Well... I have Jupiter in Krittika (Sun ruled nakshatra)and Sun in Purva Bhadrapada (Jupiter ruled nakshatra)...Is it a mutual exchange between Sun and Jupiter?

We don't use the nakshatras in jaimini astrology, do we? Since jaimini is more of a rashi aspects thing. So it is more for parashara astrology?
+Stefanie Fernando Correct. I do not use the nakshatras much in Jaimini, although I may occasionally consider the placement of a karaka in a nakshatra to see if it lends any additional information.

my atmakaraka is Mercury in the 7th in punarvasu. So thats my path of prosperity? Jupiter is exalted but in the 8th.
