I started “Never Tickle a Sleeping Dragon” from Diamond Painting Deutschland in February for Elisa’s Lunar New Year DP event, but I didn’t get more than a 20x20cm square done, so I’ll have to check out the fb group to join for the April/May event and be encouraged to work on it more! ❤

Wow!!! Such an impressive collection! I bought my first JWall (I’m pretty sure I told you) then found out it was a flat shipping rate from DPD so immediately ordered 2 more! I have Leo, Unicorn Kiss and Melody in Pink. I will have to ask Deb if I can participate via email since I’m not on FB. I just finished Chuck-A-Long and was able to email my weekly progress photos to participate. I’ll see what happens. If the answer is Yes, I’ll do Leo. Question: is it advisable to completely remove the DSA and cover the entire painting with release paper? I know it would be a huge job but the DSA is a turn off, ya know? Please give me your thoughts. Thanks! ❤
I bet you can join in by email. It's pretty casual. You don't have to show weekly updates, just some progress by the end. The extra motivation may help you get closer to finishing one. At least that's what I'm hoping.

I have a few DAC J Walls I’m hold on to. I also have a DPD in my stash, but haven’t gotten into it either. I ordered Spirit of the Elements from TOWTDA this week. I got just 1 to get a feel if I like it or not. I’m hoping I do because I have 4 on my wishlist! I love a challenge and this seems right up my alley. I vote start the smaller one! You have a lot of large ones going and the smaller one may be a break for you when you need it.
I love the last one they are all stunning tho! I think if I were to choose for you I would like to see the one that is smallest and the least colors. I forget what it’s called but it was from the destash I believe you said. That way you’ll have one completion sooner than later and can then kit up. Another 😂😊❤
I really didn't the first time. After that I went a bit smaller. If you join their fb group, you can ask to see renderings of a few sizes and pick from there. Squares of the same size will always give more detail than rounds. Squares are smaller, so it takes more to fill an area.

Thanks! I keep at least 5 going at any one time. Some take a really long time, so the smaller ones really help with burnout on a big canvas.

I found one on a destash group for about $125. Still a lot, but it is arriving on my birthday!

When you get a dp duechland are the symbols always the same? Like dmc and confetti are different for every piece,?
I've heard they are the same. I haven't opened mine to double check, but others that have multiples say they are the same dmc/symbol combos.
