- Very uneventful and ranty. There is one snowflake who said that she "refuses" to be on camera. But she melted back into a public servant after a few minutes and said nothing when I went back and recorded her again.

Nice movie! My favorite part is when you ride the elevators including the skylobby elevators. The skylobby elevators go thousands of feet per minute

@Ringo Garvin Yeah, I would never say don't taze me, or let me go, or no, I'm not under arrest, etc. All completely pointless and they guarantee you not only lose all of your dignity and look like a moron, but it makes the experience that much sweeter for the cops. They know they are winning. I prefer to overly comply (hard to believe I've never been arrested right?) if in that situation and not give them any reason to slam my face into the concrete and pulverize my skull like Kelly Thomas. Comply in the street, survive to win in court.
You, sir, are an excellent 1AA and a great non-instigating addition to this vital movement. And a good photographer. I can't wait to view your new concept; didn't work. audio lost. work on it. . . . I used to be the lead engineer/electrician of that building. Almost all of the towers tenants were Seattle government employees. Quite a number of them were arrogant, rude, egotistical and difficult to work with. They complained about, EVERYTHING!! I held that position for eight years. The stress of that job, dealing with these people everyday was way beyond terrible. That job began to affect my health, my family life and my emotional wellbeing. I finally left that job, retired and moved back to the Midwest. One would have to put a gun to my head before I would work there again!
Thank God you were capable of recognizing the dangers of staying there. I managed an old apartment building downtown Seattle and although it wasn't entitled government employees, the negative energy I absorbed and was exposed to on a daily basis also began to affect my health. Thank God I was able to take some soul-cleansing hikes in the mountains from time to time or I might not have made it. And I agree. I would never go back except to visit and maybe live in a small town in the NE of the State.
@@Utuber209 Really, the main reason I stayed there as long as I did was the money. It payed very handsomely. Like you, one thing that helped me was riding around Washington state on my Harley motorcycle or playing my bass guitar. I forgot about everything and it was like a lazy mans Zen. Not only was the job stressful, the commute was no fun. I had to take the train from Puyallup to Seattle, so two hours out of my day were wasted in just commuting and I had to answer emails on my Blackberry while commuting. I can just imagine what you went through taking care of apartment building, so I bet that you had to manage service vendors and put up with unhappy tenants. I had to oversee five junior engineers and had to constantly audit their performance and their work practices. The building management continually placed so many regulations on me with who to hire and to get three bids for any project. One day I was taking my usual lunch break walking around Seattle and it came to me like a revelation that the job with the money was not worth it!!! You cant imagine the relief I felt when I decided to leave the job and relocate to a small town in the Midwest. I am glad your situation had a happy ending!
Yes I can relate to that perfectly. The Harley sounds Iike a good time. And yes, I rode the Sounder from Sumner to King St. station when I first got there for a Security gig. Yes the building was petty much a meth hole when I took it over and the owner did precious little to improve the place.
It reached a point where it was a pretty cozy place to live for a while, then started going downhill when I took full-time work elsewhere.
But that feeling you described took me back to many an early mornings, surrounded by all the noise and activity of downtown, (as beautiful as it is in the City in places) and realizing I needed to get out.
@@Utuber209 I loved the town of Sumner. I used to ride my bicycle from Puyallup, through Sumner, then Orting, and on to the trail head. It must have been horrible dealing with those people. On the south part of our tower we had a transformer right by the side walk. Sometimes the bums would sleep there by it in the winter because it radiated heat. When they left for the day, they always sent us a reminder that they were there because they would defecate in huge piles. If they didn't do it there, they would get into our first floor restrooms and smear poop all over the walls and plug the toilets flooding the bathroom with raw sewage. What kind of a person would do those awful disgusting things? I called them worthless eaters!

Whisper audit....love it! I agree it is innovative, and as they move closer to you to hear, you can yell F off real loud. Seriously though I think that would make cops pay more attention to what your saying, and less time thinking about what lie they will tell you next.
