I’ve had the upro ostand for about 6 weeks got the magnetic guardian today (the one with sets of buttons) there is a difference in case thickness. The ostand is just a bit thicker, this is a very small amount and I actually enjoy the sides better with that slight extra thickness. The magnets on all of them should be the same; I believe it’s the actual cases material adding or taking away from the resistance your feeling with that magnet test.

Quick question. Does the back of your phone heat up when charging on a MagSafe charger?
Every iPhone will warm up a bit on the back when MagSafe charging
@@Slimothy true.. but what about the mag safe charger? I have one of the cases with the kick stand ring and both the back of my phone and charger got really hot
@@sweets_Cat88 They all get warm. If it seems too hot there could be another issue at play. Try charging in the same scenario (same starting battery %, same room temperature, same using the phone or not, while charging, etc). And do an experiment and see if the case is causing issues. Likely isn’t, but it could in theory. I don’t use any case on my phone daily and I also almost always use wired charging.
@@Slimothy oh I’ve tried 3 different MagSafe chargers
One of them was a mage safe battery charger and that thing got hot to the touch in 5 minutes
Another one I have by my desk. So far that one gave off a little heat.
The last one I have by my bed side and both back side of phone and the MagSafe area got hot.
I unplugged the MagSafe charger and used a lighting cable for now
@@sweets_Cat88 Make sure you use an official Apple MagSafe charger if you have one as a baseline. With no case on. You can always try rebooting your phone. However what you’re experiencing might be normal since wireless charging does generate heat
