He should've added a gimbal to the rocket bomb to make it hover over the ship
he did but it wasn't enough power to keep it up
he coulda used the helicopter engine minithruster design to make it hover
I think he should've done is add flaps or something that'll slow it down in the air like it was a retarded bomb
How did he make Them shoot when locked?
so, my assessment on the good and bad of each bomb:
Binocular bomb: reliable concept, but the shape is probably not the best for an unguided dumb bomb(as in it just drops with no propulsion, stabilization, ect). could use some tuning on the detonation height(a bit above sea level could help with the bounce problem) or a distance sensor on the front to detonate early on direct hits. a detachable block in between the 2 'prongs' and some helicopter engines and fins for stabilization could help with accuracy and coverage without changing the profile too much. not the most unique idea but it gets the job done.
Rocket hover bomb: im not sure if the gimbals are working as intended, but they aren't very effective in the current design. a few fins or folding helicopter blades and a helicopter engine would help slow down their fall to give more time for the rockets to lock on. making them longer with weight on one end and fins on the other would greatly help to keep them straight and the rockets pointed to the target, as well as preventing them from 'gliding' too far away from the target. good in concept but poor in execution.
Torpedo: right off the bat, there is probably too much buoyancy for the weight, causing those bounces. reducing the buoyancy would probably help in keeping it straight. aside from that, a couple of sensors on the side could allow the torpedo to detonate even if it misses but is still close enough to deal damage on explosion, reducing the need for accuracy. adding a gun onto the torpedo, especially a smart cannon, would also increase the damage done with 'near misses'. good idea, but needs some fine tuning

@@flake1445 honestly, yuzei and co tend to over think torpedo design. A single pontoon on the top of the torpedo and a single engine and explosive mounted in front makes a much simpler, compact and reliable torpedo that needs barely any logic or stabilizers. Also lets you mount more due to size and complexity savings
For a video idea you could try to make a battlebot-style rumble. It’s already been done but I’d like to see your take on it.
Bit of advice for the future: When using torpedos, you want to go low and slow.
and don't forget that you have to be level with the water and don't drop the torpedo at an angle
Unless it's a moving target then slow wouldn't be the best.
@@mercy9375 Unless you're going after a speedboat, in which case you should be using guns, not torpedoes, low and slow is *always* the best. Too high and they have time to nose down, which will cause them to dolphin. Too fast, and IRL you damage them. In this game, that is another likely cause of them dolphining.

I have a small airplane that i have a bomb on and its amazing at dropping kaboom on hit bombs like the bombnoculars and it can drop rocket propelled missiles I wish i could join these lads and try this it looks fun

will if the bomber were flying right then they do good not bad, they were trying to kill the ship form the side like you were when they need to kill for Bail to aft, not starboard to port. bomber do Bail to aft and Torpedo plane do starboard to port

Anybody know how the torpedo propells itself? I couldn't see any propellers so i assumed jets but the dont work in water
It probably uses underwater propellers (the last propulsion block in the propulsion catergory menu)
