Seem like you've done almost everything in regards to the shifter parts, one I noticed you haven't done and I can't recommend enough is the Mtec shifter spring!
I tried ordering for the 2008 Honda fit from hybrid racing and they sent me upgraded parts they don't look like these but they tell me they fit I'm going to find out next chance

hybrid only have detent spring for 07 gd3, but mine is 2003... hard to find a detent spring
