K8 and NL are actually a great example of how to integrate your kid into content without being exploitative. There is so, so much worse out there.
I think it helps that they’ve fostered an extremely kind and wholesome community compared to the rest of the online space.

The perceived display of "personal" life with the public creates the illusion, for some people, that they have ANY relationship at all with that stranger that doesn't (or only trivially) know they exist. It often comes from people that don't have meaningful relationships in their own life to fall back on. The suggestion from the commenter, I think, is that Kate is facilitating that relationship, which is a weird take.
He is at least a marquess of youtube. If not for the sub count then for how long he has been around and how ingrained his is. Especially since quite a few larger creators were in part or directly inspired by him.

@@legion999 It is from a very old animation called “Friendship is Magic Bitch” which makes fun of the fact that Princess Celestia solves all of her problems by just sending people to the moon. The bananas speak to the idea that she found an arbitrary “exotic” marker that will condemn anyone asked about it regardless if they like bananas or not. It’s mad funny.
