    Why does this hospital only have 2 live support machines? Seriously.

      Ecmo is not a life support machine 🤦🏼‍♀️ They are two completely different things. Ecmo filters blood, life support does the breathing for you.

      Because each life support machine is thousands if not millions of dollars

      Real compressions could /should break ribs and be quite violent , on live actors there’s no reason for that . Unless the actor playing that kid took the last sandwhich from craft services and nurse was hungry lol

      @@user-wl1sh8jy4r well I mean normally you also wouldn't do compressions if you find a kid that was frozen. chest compressions are to imediately reanimate. if somebody is longer than 15min dead there is no hope left. if somebody is frozen like he was that means that their body hasn't moves within at least one hour. irl this wouldn't have been a rescue, it would have been a recovery

    Why is a nurse leaving her shift and joining search and rescue

    • @NobleTeam99
      @NobleTeam99 Před 4 měsíci +6

      Because CPR was at a higher likelihood of necessity of use, and CPR cannot be administered without "base contact" which is to say contact to the hospital.
      The nurse leaving shift to go with, stops the wait time for communication. Plus with how far out they were, it's possible such contact would have been impossible.
      Very smart idea by the nurse actually
